I think Naruto is different because if you've noticed lately when naruto gets in situations that have escalated quickly- Juubi and Vs Pain- It shows the SO6P Looking down on him.

What's different is with bee when he gets in those situations there's nothing it's fine it doesn't depict the SO6P looking down on him or anything.

Personally I think there is either something with Naruto that makes him special or Kurama which makes the SO6P show up in dire situations....

Also pretty much we're going to see a SM naruto again. He's out of Kyuubi chakra so his next strongest transformation has to be SM.

Him being "special" is kinda obvious, I doubt the SM will be enough to hold Madara and the Juubi at bay so a new chakra cloak, is what I'm predicting

To point out your mistake, against pain, it wasn't the SO6P that was looking at him, it was pain himself... I guess you said it was SO6P because you saw the Rennigan... If you watch the fight on youtube, you will see that it is pain because the shape of the person's head is different from the one on the manga yesterday. It was pain because he happened to force his chakra into Naruto to keep him at bay by restricting his movement but Hinata made him go into rampage!

However, against Juubi, it was SO6P that was starring because he is about to access that power that the Sage gained; by combing all the tailed beast chakra, but the only thing that deterred him from gaining access was that he didn't have 8 tail's chakra because it is in Killer Bee at the moment (I think he will figure that out) because if you take a good look at the picture that was shown, you will see all the tailed beasts present (including 1 tail- Shukaku, even though we didn't see him give Naruto any power but it is assumed that since it is Shukaku's power that was used to bring the Gedo Mazo to life, then his chakra is being used to control the beasts hence they have a part of it).Also, Kurama's Yin is missing (which Minato will grant him soon) if not Naruto could do Yin Yang release. =D

In the fight against pain the silhouette in Naruto's background was that of Nagato with rinnengan. just like when Jiraya's shoulder was penetrated by the chakra receiving rods during his fight with pain.
In this Jubbi arc, yeah, it is the silhouette of the SO6P.
