Zetsu keeps calling her "Mother". That makes sense, in the same sense that Minato is the "Father" of rasengan. Rasengan can't talk but if it could would it call Minato its father? The reason it's so devoted to her could be because it's exactly what Madara said it was when he explained it to Obito; Will made into a physical substance.

So, either she is BZ's mother because she created it, or she really did produce it from her vagina. Maybe it's her period.
