Let look at naruto's Abilities.
His devotion to his art has led to him doing so much
Ninjutsu:
These will carry subcategories. the first of which is...
chakra control- S ranked...simply because of his shadow clone jutsu. The level of focus and effort takes to evenly distribute chakra across hundreds of bodies at age 13 insane. Talk about the kyubii's chakra but the distribution was all him.
nature and shape manipulation- he accomplished in part one in three days what it took minato presumably a long time to develop. Again a function of chakra control. He then in part two proceeded to add to that jutsu and accomplish something his father a resounding genius could not accomplish. As the manga developes he is becoming the gold standard in both categories of chakra. He does waste a lot on big moves but its not by mistake. He's just overly enthusiastic.
Ninjutsu skills- shadow clone and rasengan and two s ranked moves and he wields both effortlessly granted he has not expanded his arsenal much. He has added chakra natures to his moves to enhance his rasengan with make them more versatile. The magnet style sealing and the other types like acid and lava show this.
Taijutsu- His seamless integration of shadow clone jutsu into his fighting style makes him a one man team. Thoughts and movements are perfectly coordinated. now this is not worth shit without exceptional taijutsu skills. This is where frog kata is perfectly suited for naruto. He uses of S ranked taijutsu in combination with his incredible combat strategy and his x factor make him a nightmare up close. This in my opinion is naruto's greatest strength.
Senjutsu-Combat sensory abilities with unrivaled reflexes to boot. This combination alone is all i need to metion from his senjutsu arsenal but i should credit the numerous toads that he can summon to his aid. Oh almost forgot. The truth seeking balls. That absolute defense ball. The twin rod extensions. Dawg...come on
The X factor
He is The Perfect Jin. Nevermind the juubi jins. Naruto as a jinchuriki is the apex predator. He wields his chakra arms seamlessly along with his frog kata and shadow clones and even in making his rasengan. The connection he has built with each bijuu has also given him mental access to them creating a perfect synchronicity of the mind. Each bijuu and naruto think the same way in combat. Gathering chakra and channeling it into limbs as in the kaguya fight when naruto was fighting solo against her. All these skills are good to have but the glue that holds it all togerther is his unrivaled speed. Akin to his father naruto can be considered the fastest living ninja of his time. In my personal opinion he is. Its a close call with guy but i give him the edge. His speed isn't just in his footspeed he has tremendous combat speed coupled with precision.
Now there are those in the base who have argued and will continue to argue this borrowed power bullshit. Lets think. Take away the x factor and go back in time with me. Mastering shaodw clone jutsu was difficult but it happened. It was at its peak in times of anger when he let the kyubii's chakra leaked out but the simple fact that he was able to wield it prior to losing control in itself is remarkable. it would have taken him longer to gain this degree of control to perfect the jutsu he would still manage to do it it would just take longer. rasengan was mastered on his sheer will and his own massive chakra reserves. different story with the FRS but the same general concept of him just taking more time to accomplish it. Senjutsu was mastered on his own to wield as opposed to the kyubii's chakra. now a more controversial arguement is his upgraded senjutsu...Now without him being a jin he may never have had access to this power but then as the child of prophecy you can say him meeting the sage was inevitable and that the power was his to get from the beginning.
now minus the x factor where does that leave us?
Naruto would be an expert with chakra control and nature manipulation who was able to use senjutsu had combat sensory skills and prime reflexes. No to mention his incredible cqc skills comprised of frog kata and his ransengan.
Now if thats not an S-ranked shinobi then idk what is.
