I was never fond of Naruto because I always found him extremely one dimensional and boring.
The problem with him is that he's way too pliable and is just a basic hot-headed idiot shonen character. For the majority of the series I hated how clingy he was to Sasuke and at a point I legit assumed he was gay.
He never had that much of a motive to even begin with besides to become Hokage which that in itself proves my earlier point.
THIS CHAPTER THOUGH. This chapter reminded me why I dislike him so much. He cried over the man who killed his parents, killed countless other people and wiped out his "best friend's" clan. I understand forgiveness but there's always a line, and Obito should have stepped, trampled, shat on, pissed and spit on it.
But this manga has long given up on character progression or growth but is rather a contest to see who can get the most bijuu and destroy the most mountains.
