Naruto was always as kind as Hashirama, his mentality is clearly similar too.
If you think Naruto is an average ninja, I guess you're watching the wrong anime.
Only fight he lost thorought the whole series was against Sasuke, and he kind of countered him, like always, in the end, they still get to a tie, and I believe Naruto could've kill him, but just didn't, to give him a second chance.
The name change was EXPLAINED, it was so people wouldn't find out who he actually is, this way, nobody wanted him dead, at least for a while.
If you're going to make posts like these, be sure to have actually read the manga a couple of times.

Remember when it said "distant blood relatives" the Uzumakis have waaaay different techs than of the Senjus as well... The fact that the Uzumakis are even in the Hidden Eddies support that theory that if they were ever relatives, it wont be close.Not asspulls since they can be explained, Ashura most likely had two children and his body traits divided between them, Kishi is known to divide power between children.
One child would have inherited the Gedo traits and life force, the other would have inherited the Juubi's KKG and large chakra reserves, both would have potential to learn high level Senjutsu. Hashirama and Naruto combined form both halves of Ashura's body.
Hashi and Madara's power levels weren't asspulls, they were both equal. You should know by now that using a bijuu as a weapon is no different to using a sword in a fight.
Madara used his dojutsu to its full extent just as Hashi used his Sage Mode at full power, in the end they both fought until they were on the verge of death in base mode. And they both survived the fight, they were equal.
You claim Naruto is an average shinobi but blatantly ignore he can use Kage rank jutsu ever since he was a child. He doesn't need any other technique because Rasengan and RS have negged every opponent he's ever faced.
And his ability as a Jinchuuriki comes from having Kushina's blood and Uzumaki genes which descend from Ashura, so your claim Minato is the only reason is strong is BS.
Location, techs, and ultimately their style is far way too different. Also history.
Indra and Ashura's descendants have always fought each other. I seriously doubt that the Uzumaki fought the Uchiha, considering their location.
The Hyuga is much closer to them and that clan isnt on Hagoromo's side.
Also, Senjus have "sage modes" or facial markings. Uzumakis traits are more on chakra chains.
It was an asspull by Kishimoto through and through.
I mean seriously though, the clans are both known to the the toughest and hardest to kill due to their immense chakra and life force then they just vanished? "akatsuki had a buttload of villages attack the Hidden Eddies" ok...
but the Senjus? One of the most powerful clan that subjected the Uchiha and Hyuga into their force and build a new village gone in just 3 generations?
All it took was 3 generations for them to fall from the very top and become nothing but legends. WTF happened there?

that's pretty much most stories that have been circulating since the dawn of time though since they usually required sudden plot twists and devices to give a story its substance. It really just comes down to whether the writer does a good enough job explaining them away or not.
Itachi was 18 when introduced in manga
Kakashi states Itachi was made Anbu captain at age of 13

Some of them probably could guess but officially they didn't discuss it and kids didn't know either.
1- Kushina being pregnant was a secret- only the third, his wife, ANBU on duty, Jiraiya, Kakashi and Minato knew. And Sasuke's mom- who found out when Kushina talked to her. Of course later we learned that Obito knew too- the person who shouldn't have- but it were likes of him and Kumo nins ( attacked Kushina and then Hinata) Hiruzen wanted to avoid.
2- Orochimaru mentioned hearing a rumour that the fourth sealed the Kyuubi in an orphan but even he didn't know either till he saw Kyuubi eyes in Naruto.

Manga was black and white and Minato wasn't shown in colour much later. There were readers who weren't ready to believe he was Minato's son till Minato appeared and stopped Kyuubi.
There were theories Akatsuki leader being Naruto's father as Star War fans thought he would be something like Darth Vader- pretty aggressive theory makers. >_>
