So I was rewatching interstellar and found a lot of similarities with it and naruto series. Note: the parrellels are not literal but more based on plot and thematic/character stuff. Also there are spoilers to the movie so if u haven't watched it then use ur own discretion
I split this up into naruto notes and interstellar notes so yall can see the parallels
NARUTO:
1)was criticized for having the series centered around sasuke and naruto only and leaving out the k11 to develop
2)two of the three main characters (sasuke and naruto) got most of the spotlight while sakuras character was underdeveloped/not focused on as much
3)the ending of the series had many asspulls and almost Devine intervention type moments when madara (the most powerful shinobi) died by zetsu
4)not a criticism but in terms of plot notes, naruto featured a multi year skip where we see naruto become a teenager/young adult
INTERSTELLAR:
1)was criticized for focusing on cooper instead of developing other characters like Anne hatheways character
2)cooper and murph became the dominant characters while coopers own son was basically forgotten in the story (kinda like Sakura was between the three)
3)the ending of the movie was critisized for being too over the top with cooper being able to send morse code across demensions while murph somehow solves the mystery behind gravity to save the world while other scientists spent their whole lives and never found a solution
4)another plot note: like naruto, interstellar had a time skip where cooper and the scientists that visited the first planet returned to find that they had went through many earth years
Well that's all I have. Just some food for thought ...
