N.B My story is loosely based upon the Shaolin Monks of China, and set in a just prior to the unification of China, some names are attributed as per the correct history, but all else is fiction

Title: Legend of Shaolin: The Story of Pai-G

Prologue:

Many Centuries before China was unified in the Qin Dynasty, there was nothing but warring states, The 6 major states were:

Yin - Chu - Zhao, Qi, Tao, Jin

Within these Imperial states lay the quiet and peaceful Shaolin temples, were monks practiced their teachings and way of life, and passed these down to the next generation.

In one of the more, powerful states, Yin, was a shaolin temple high in the mountains. In this temple Bodhidharma,, one of most elder shaolin monk resided and taught the Shaolin way of life to his desciples.

Out of the dozens, the most talented were Huike [25], Hui-guang[22] and Seng-chou[21].
Seng despite being the youngest was the sharpest of the three, a very intelligent man and the most profficient in his skills
Huike was the eldest and most respected
Hui-Gang was the joker, the one who lifted his comrades in spirit, and was second to Seng in his skills.

Despite being so fearful and respectful of their master, they never actually witnessed him fight or train as he was always meditating, and only giving instructions to his desciples

The Emperor of the Yin state, Emperor Hua, was known as a Tyrant even among his people, however was a deeply spiritual man, and often beckoned spiritual personalities to come and give him closure to his actions.
Bodhidharma, and his temple were of course invited, and reluctantly they go.

The Emperor, even in the protection of his Throne room among spiritual men, with his thousands of guards outside, was a very wary man, and often had his 4 Bodyguards with him

Li Bai, Fuu, Yui Fe, Huo , all whom were extremely talented martial artists with years of battle experiences.

These men were part of a heritage that would serve the Emperor of the Yin empire, and so would their sons following their demise.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
During one visit to the Emperor, Seng-chou and Huike discovered a horrifying secret, Hui-guang, was secretly seeing one of the Emperor's Spouses, who was mother to the Emperor's first born son

Worse still was that Hui and Mei, [her name], planned to elope back to the temple in secret as she was of his child.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upon completing the visit, and successfully hiding her in their entourage , [while their master was unaware], the disciples were almost out of the Emperor's vast castle, until they were stopped by the 1000 of the kings men

Bodhidharma perplexed by the aggressive nature of the stop, is shocked to learn of the secret hidden among his group when nformed by the Soldiers, who informed that all the spouses were watched by hidden spies throughout the palace

Bodhidharma however he pleads for their safety and assures they will disappear never to return,

The soldiers reject this and explain they will save their Emperor's honor by bringing back their head

Bodhidharma explains that as members of Shaolin they will not harm them
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A soldier from inside the large group, fires an arrow which hits one of the shaolin and kills him,

Reluctantly Bodhidharma instructs his pupils to fight, and to not kill but to evade

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

During the melee many of the Shaolin are killed, however the three main students, Mei and Bodhidharma manage to escape, however upon arriving at the temple they find destruction

The death of all the members of the temple, old and young and the ''Hua Four'' -[the kings bodyguards awaiting them], and 200 more guards

Bodhidharma becomes for the first time in decades infuriated

The desciples stand alongside their master and begin to fight, during the fight all the kings guards are killed

however.. Huike is killed
Hui also is beaten much to Mei's horror
Seng loses an arm and his stabbed in the leg

Bodhidharma distraught does not wish to see Seng pass, thus activates his ''QI'' an acient technique used to take his body to a higher level to give seng and mei the chance of escape

Seng declines, and Bodhidharma requests that he lives to carry on the spirit of their temple

Seng passes out and is placed on a horse with Mei, and Mei rides off into the distance

Bodhidharma defeats three of the four, upon facing the remaining fighter Li Bai, Bodhidharma loses strength and collapses...
