Well considering the show IS named Naruto, he wouldn't become fodder.

I mean Sage mode made him on par with Pain, BM was just a step futher, now he can officially combine them both, not to mention he can create an army of kage level clones, Naruto right now is OP as hell right now it's not even funny. Sasuke and he's feats are nothing compared to Naruto right now. It's going to take a great ass pull of a power up to make him on par with Naruto.
