Sasuke being the leader of Anbu sounds like a good idea to me. Much like with Gaara he will be able to perceive darkness better than anyone else just like Gaara, because he himself has been down that road. Sasuke will also be working hand in hand with Naruto.

Oh yeah, the Police force, Anbu Black Ops, and Root are three different groups different

The whole point of anbu,root was for missions to be carried out in secret to help the village. Can't you see the story is heading in a completely different direction then how things were 1st introduced. Things like Anbu and root were a mistake.

Thanks guys for your opinions. I don't think that the shinobi alliance will last forever. Some tension will build between the nations especially since the leaf holds the two strongest people in the world that we know of.

Either Sasuke dies in Naruto vs Sasuke, or Sasuke becomes a terrorist to Konoha similar to Orochimaru or the Akatsuki. I doubt Sasuke will settle for second place, Madara didn't.
