A few weeks have passed since the attack of Madara and Tobi, Sasuke is now out of the hospital and the 5 Kages had returned to their village to inform their elders of the news and make adjustments to their military force. The era of peace that was established after the war seems to be crumbling, the 5 Kages have already re departed from their own villages to a meeting point in the middle of the 5 nations, for a summit to plan for the future.
Naruto: Urgh, we have been travelling for days, how long until we are there already?
ANBU Guard: Not long now Hokage – Sama, just a few hours.
Naruto: YOU SAID THIS YESTERDAY!
ANBU Guard: I know, I am sorry Hokage – Sama, we had a slight delay with Sasuke – Kun’s wounds re opening.
Sakura: You are the Hokage now, show some patience and restraint, it won’t look good on the other nations.
Shikamaru: You know she is right, you may all be friends but you still must show the other Kage’s respect and be formal, especially in a big summit like this.
*Naruto sticks his tongue out at Sakura, she looks frustrated but holds it in.*
Sasuke: Hmph, for one of the strongest ninjas in the worls, you are immature… Hokage – Sama
Naruto: Shut it Sasuke, show me some respect, I am one of the strongest ninjas in the world after all.
They all chuckle except for Sasuke who manages a grin, even the ANBU smirks under his mask.

The scene switches to the meeting point, the other 4 kages are already waiting, sitting round an ovular wooden table.
Raikage: Where is the Hokage, we are all here. I would like to get this meeting underway.
Oonoki: No patience as always, you are more hot – headed than the Hokage, calm down he will be here shortly.
Raikage: Don’t talk to me about patience old man.
Mei: Will the two of you calm down, you are 2 of the Kage. It is embarrassing.
The 3 of them bicker amongst themselves, they are agitated, Gaara simply sits there, looking on in the distance.
Gaara: Please be quiet, the Hokage will be here shortly.
*Mei, Onoki and the Raikage all carry on debating, a greyish figure emerges from the ceiling above, his eyes are both yellow, he looks very similar to Zetsu, however something is different.*
??? *thinking*: Looks like Madara’s plan is working, the Hokages really are rattled, they have lost their composure and are already arguing amongst themselves, its pitiful.
*The Zetsu like figure sucks himself back into the wall, out of sight.*
The doors slams open, all of the Kage’s fall silent and turn to see 5 figures.
Raikage: It is about time Hokage, we have all been waiting for you, why are you the last, it is closest to Konoha after all.
Naruto takes his seat around the table, Sakura, Sasuke, Shikamaru and the ANBU guard stand behind him, perfectly silent.
Naruto: I apologise, there was a delay, it turns out Sasuke’s wounds were not entirely healed like he lead us to believe and the opened up yesterday.
Onoki: You bought quite an entourage; last time we all gathered here didn’t Sasuke attack us?
Silence falls, they all turn and look at Onoki, then at Sasuke.
Sasuke: That was in the past, I have apologised before, I am here for the meeting as the head of Konoha’s police force.
Onoki: I am joking anyway, so what do we need to discuss.
Gaara: Well Madara’s and tobi’s attack seems like a fitting place to start, what did he mean when he said “My followers will avenge us”
Naruto: that has been playing on my mind for quite some time, I believe they are plotting something, it wasn’t quite right when we fought them, they seemed weaker.
Onoki: You think maybe it was some sort of clone?
Naruto: Nope, it was definitely them, I mean we saw the bodies, they are long gone, but it was like they were not at full strength, I believe Tobi was injured permanently from the war and Madara’s Edo Tensei was wearing off.
Mei: If that was the case then why would they attack us head on when they are weakened, if they do have follower, why not take them? Especially with all 5 of us in Konoha.
Naruto: I don’t know.
Raikage: From what I have heard they had their sources, they knew all five of us had gathered in Konoha for the Chunin exams.
Shikamaru: If you don’t mind me interrupting, I believe I know the reason.
Naruto: What is it Shikamaru?
Shikamaru: Clearly it was to scare us, I mean, they knew they were going to die, so they probably planned to go out with a bang. Rattle us up a bit, and make it easier for these so called followers to attack us.
Mei: I think the kid may be right, it makes sense.
Naruto: By the sounds of it it is working, we could hear you all bickering from outside.
Gaara: okay, in one week from today, I believe we should gather in Konoha, if Madara does have these followers then they could be getting ready to attack, we need to evenly distribute all of our forces over the 5 villages.
Raikage: WHAT!?! There is no way I am giving up my Shinobi, we may be an alliance but we still have our interests in mind.
Gaara: Your village lost the most in the war, you will end up gaining Shinobi in other villages, it will only be for a few months while we search for his followers.
Naruto: I agree with Gaara, Konoha has the strongest force at the moment, I will be willing to send out a few of my Shinobi to help strengthen numbers in other villages.
Mei: I agree.
Onoki: I also agree with the Kazekage.
Raikage: Fine, whatever.
???: Very interesting, I better go tell Yokichi about this one.
A few hours pass and the Kage put the final touches on their plans to meet in Konoha next week.

The scene changes to what was once Madara’s and Tobi’s hideout. It has changed, it is refurbished, however it feels a lot colder than before.
???: Yokichi – Sama, the Kages are going to meet in Konoha a week today, their forces are weak in other villages, I believe we should attack the Raikage’s village first, they will obviously be without a Kage at the time and they have the weakest forces.
Yokichi: Very good Zetstu, your abilities are just like Zetsu’s, then again you were made from his cells. You did a good job, however, I intend to attack Konoha first, and it will be done a week today, when the 5 kage are in Konoha.
Zetstu: but, the 5 Kage will be there, they will be at their strongest.
Yokichi: It will be a perfect place, all of our jinchuriki will be able to get their revenge, and I can take out that Naruto brat, You underestimate us, we have gotten strong, stronger than tobi and Madara, they will not know what hit them.
Zetstu: Y..Yes Yokichi – Sama
Yokichi: Go and gather the others, I will to brief them of our upcoming attack.
Zetstu: Yes Yokichi – Sama, right away.

Sorry for the long wait for this chapter, like I said in another thread, I left Naruto for a bit, to get a build up of chapters that I can read in one go, in that time I guess I lost motivation to write these Fanfics, so again, I am sorry.I am back now and I know this chapter is boring but i guess it is a set up chapter for whats about to come, which I imagine you can all work out from reading this! Anyway, hope you enjoyed it anyway! Thanks for reading!
Also, does anybody know how to edit threads? It seems to have changed, I tried editing chapter 17 to get the template for my picture and previous links but it doesn't work!
