Naruto is seen leaning against the wall of the Genin academy, still waiting for Hinata, a few minutes have passed since he saw Sasuke and Sakura walking together. He sighs, wondering where she is, his stomach rumbles.
Naruto: *thinking*: Where is she? I am starving; I hope she hasn’t forgotten about our plans!
*Naruto hears the door close behind him, he turns around*
Hinata: I am sorry I am late, there were a few issues in the exam today, I had a lot of paperwork to file.
Naruto: Its fine Hinata, do you want to get a bite to eat?
Hinata: I would love to, where do you want to go?
*She says this in a sarcastic tone, knowing Naruto’s response*
Naruto: Ichiraku Ramen!
Hinata: How did I guess?
The two of them walk off into the distance; they turn the corner and proceed down the street until the reach Ichiraku. They pull away the hanging signs to see Sasuke and Sakura sitting there, waiting for their food.
Hinata: Oh… Hi you two, are we interrupting anything?
*She looks at Sakura with a small grin on her face*
Sakura: No its fine, take a seat, whenever we come here we expect to see at least Naruto here.
Naruto looks at her and sticks his tongue out at her. He takes a seat next to Sasuke and Hinata sits down beside him.
Teuchi: Ahh, Naruto my bo…. Hokage – Sama. It is nice to see you again, didn’t you stop by earlier though for lunch?
Naruto: Its fine Ramen Man, call me by my name, I am off duty technically.
Saskura: Idiot, the Hokage is never off duty.
Naruto seems to ignore her comment, he is to busy focusing on what he wants to order.
*He turns to Hinata*
Naruto: Hinata, what would you like? I still don’t know what I want.
Hinata: Just the usual please.
Naruto: If the Hokage is always on duty, shouldn't you show him respect at all times, Sakura?
Sasuke chuckles under his breath. Sakura clenches her fist, a vein swells up on her forehead.
Teuchi: Naruto! I have a new dish prepared, would you like to try it, Sasuke over there is.
Naruto *thinking*: I can’t let Sasuke try the new dish before me, hmmm I know, I will have two!
Naruto: Yes please Ramen Man, make it two.
Sasuke: Make it two for me as well.
Sakura: *Sigh* Here we go again Hinata.
*Sakura stands up and walks over to the stool next to Hinata, she sits beside her, they both chuckle and have their own conversation.*
A few minutes pass. Teuchi hands out 6 bowls of ramen, two to Naruto, two to Sasuke and one each for Hinata and Sakura. Naruto turns to Sasuke, making eye contact, he begins to eat his bowl rapidly, Sasuke does the same. Sasuke finishes his 2 bowls, as he does Naruto slams his fist on the table.
Naruto: ANOTHER PLEASE!
Sasuke: ME TOO!
*Naruto continues to eat rapidly, trying desperately hard to beat Sasuke, with each bowl he slams his fist on the table demanding more, Sasuke does the same.*
Eventually they both hit the wall, they have stacked up a pile of bowls as high as the ceiling between them, Hinata and Sakura have just finished their first.
*Sasuke stands up, feeling very bloated*
Sasuke: Looks like I won again, just like that time we were guarding Tazuna.
*Naruto jumps up out of his seat, there is a vein popping out of his head.*
Naruto: I beat you that time! AND AGAIN THIS TIME!
Teuchi: Actually boys, judging from the bill, it was a draw, the only winner here today is me.
Teuchi hands Naruto the bill, laughing. Naruto is shocked to see the final total. Teuchi laughs even harder, don’t worry its free.
Naruto: W… We ate this much Ramen? I can’t take all of that for free, I will put you out of business. At least let me put in on the Budget from the village.
In the background Sakura clenches her fist, angered at Naruto’s laid back attitude. WHACK! Naruto is hit on the head.
*Naruto falls to the floor, clutching his head*
Naruto: Sakur….
*He begins to apologise to Sakura, he pauses.*
*Naruto looks up astonished, he sees Hinata with a clench fist standing over him.*
Hinata: S..Sorry Naruto, but you cannot be so complacent now, especially with all of the other villages gathered here, you are the Hokage.
Sakura looks on with a massive grin on her face, proud of Hinata, she places her hand on Hinata’s shoulder.
Sakura *Whispering*: I told you it felt good, that will keep him in line.
The two of them giggle to each other, Sasuke snickers, amused at Naruto’s pain. As Naruto begins to stand up another loud “WHACK!” is heard, this time Sasuke is on the floor clutching his head, Sakura is standing over him.
Sakura: Don’t you laugh, you were meant to be the cool, mature one, you are just as bad!
*Sasuke stands up, as though nothing happened, trying to act unfazed, it is apparent he is embarrassed, but is trying desperately hard not to show it.*
Sasuke: Whatever.
Teuchi *laughing uncontrollably*: This is just like the old times, it seems like the only one that has changed is Hinata, good for you!
The four of them pay for their meals, thanking Teuchi for the food. They go their separate ways; Naruto and Hinata head off in one direction, while Sasuke and Sakura head off in another.

The scene changes to the village gates, Madara and Tobi are seen standing there, at their feet are the corpses of two dead ANBU guards, they have got through completely undetected.
Madara: It is time Tobi, I can sense that Uchiha brat from here, I will head off this way, I WILL take him out.
Tobi: Hold on one minute! What do you propose we do with these corpses, we are not going to leave them here, we cannot be detected.
Madara: You take them away with your Space – Time technique, I will wait for you.
Tobi: Okay, you need to calm down, this will be your last kill, savour it, you will lose if you go head first into battle, do not underestimate Sasuke.
*Tobi grabs hold of the ANBU guard’s bodies, he begins to teleport away he body wraps round in a spiral around his Sharingan eye.*
A few seconds later Tobi reappears next to Madara.
Tobi: Now we can head out, I will head this way and search for the Kyuubi brat.
Madara: Hmph, I suppose this is it, goodbye I guess.
Tobi: Don’t go soft now, it is time we do what is necessary, for Yokichi.
Madara: Watch your tongue, I will never go soft, I will show him no mercy.
The two dart off in opposite directions, running forward at blitzing speeds on the roofs of Konoha, sneaking past undetected by the other guards.

The scene changes to Sasuke and Sakura, they are walking down a narrow road.
Sakura: I had a good time tonight, thank you Sasu….
Sasuke: WATCH OUT!
Sasuke grabs her around the waist, throwing her up into the air and onto a roof. He side steps to avoid a Susanoo arm extending towards them. He jumps up onto the roof next to Sakura.
Sasuke: That was close.
Sakura *thinking*: Sasuke has gotten a lot faster now, even after that Ramen. Who on Earth did that though, he is the only one alive that can use Susanoo, other than Mada…..
Before she can finish her thought Sasuke grabs her again, this time carrying her away with him , just as he jumps a Susanoo sword erupts from the roof below them, collapsing the house they are standing on.
Sasuke: Come on out Madara, I know you are there.
Madara: Very quick aren’t we. It is a shame, I have said it before and I will say it again, you had so much talent.
Madara emerges from the ground, his Susanoo is now deactivated, it appears as though he is using a similar Mokuton technique to Zetsu.
Sasuke: Sakura, leave this place now, warn Naruto, I imagine Tobi isn’t too far behind.
Madara: Tobi is with me, he is already pursuing Naruto. I would do what he says, girl. You will not want to see what is about to happen, I will be back for you later.
Sakura: NO SASUKE! We can fight him together!
Madara activates one arm of his Susanoo, he swings it down to where Sakura is standing, she just about avoids it, her leg is cut.
Sasuke: Don’t be a fool; find Naruto, if you hurry you may get to him before Tobi does.
Sakura reluctantly stands up and runs off in the opposite direction, heading towards Naruto. However she is blocked by one of Madara’s Mokuton clones.
Madara: I have changed my mind, I will kill you now.
It raises its fist to punch her, as it does high pitched screech is heard, it sounds like a thousand birds chirping. A Chidori emerges through the clone s chest, wood is heard cracking and the clone splinters. The Sasuke facing off with the real Madara dispels.
Madara: Oh, a shadow clone, when did you learn that.
Sasuke: Go Sakura! He is mine!
*Sasuke rips his hand from the clones chest, the clone begins to melt.*
Sakura runs off, jumping roof to roof, pushing through the pain of her wounded leg, the cut is quite deep, blood is pouring out.

The scene changes to Naruto, he is walking down the street towards his house, holding hands with Hinata.
Hinata: Sorry about hitting you earlier.
Naruto: It is fine Hinata, you are right; I need to be more mat…..
Before he can finish his sentence barbed chains surround Hinata, they constrict, gripping her tightly, the spikes pierce her skin. Hinata lets out a cry of pain, she is seen bleeding. Naruto turns round to see Tobi standing behind him in the distance, chains extending from his hands.
Tobi: How did you not see that one coming, I was sure you would detect me from a mile off. Hmph, some Hokage you have turned out to be.
Tobi pulls that chains tighter, Hinata flies off her feet towards Tobi, she is kneeling beside him, he holds a kunai to her neck.
Tobi: Oh, that’s right, I never used this technique last time, this was a technique your dad was lucky to see, he survived it. I can’t say your wife to be will. It’s a pi…
Before Tobi can finish his sentence a Kyuubi Mode clone slams down on top of him, pushing him deep into the ground. The chain that held Hinata is released, she uses her Heavenly Rotation jutsu to free herself.
*Hinata is crouching over, in pain, panting, she is still bleeding, she deactivated her Byakugan*
Hinata *thinking*: It is a good thing Neji taught me that.
The clone that punched Tobi dispels into smoke. Naruto is walking towards Hinata.
Naruto: I am so sorry Hinata.
Hinata: It is fine; it is not your fault.
*Sakura is standing on a roof above them, looking down at the destruction.*
Naruto: *thinking*: Where is she? I am starving; I hope she hasn’t forgotten about our plans!
