Are you referring to the bijuu son-goku? Ok, that is a subtle reference to DBZ, but that is small and insignificant. I am talking about the general picture (like the battles and the plot).

Goku's name is based of a name of another fictional character in a much older story so it's not really a reference and so is Roshi's.

LOL Vegeta and Sasuke are completely different and Naruto has the personality of a normal (though free going) teenager, it has nothing to do with Goku

I don't know what it is , but something about your threads always leave a bitter taste in my mouth..... Anyway, naruto was inspired by DBZ, and it's obvious to anyone that there are some similarities. But it's not identical obviously.
