Naruto could fight toe-to-toe with living Rinnegan madara, Since He would be alive he could not Spam Rinnegan/Wood/EMS techs like crazy since he has limited chakra.
You forget naruto isn't close to full Chakra at the moment because he wasted alot of it on spamming clones at the start of the war.
Naruto puts up a damned good fight against a living Rinnegan Madara, But loses against the edo version.
Hashirama only beat Kurama due to his ability to surpress bijuus and even then he needed to seal in Mito. Bijuus are also much stronger when there fighting inside of a jin. Naruto has shown that his mastery with Kurama is much better than Madara's because he was able to destroy his wood dragon which surpressed Kurama when Madara would use it.

He still bound him by force, while fighting Madara At the same time and its been hinted that and shown that he sealed kurama into mito at the end of the fight. A bijuu isn't stronger when fighting with a jin. It's just way more proficient. Biju fighting as a being, rampage about destroying anything and everything much different from when a jin Fights. Naruto is anything but underrated, if anything KM and BM are overrated. Madara hasn't been taking naruto or in that matter guy, bee, AND naruto seriously until now sayin that he wanted to hold back, and naruto is still having difficulty keeping up. Madara defeats naruto wether alive EMS or edo and so does hashi. But I do agree that naruto does give anyone in the manga a good fight.

2) Again, Naruto at full strength, Did you forget about all the clones he spammed and chakra he wasted at the start, Let alone Naruto had to fight Nagato/Itachi/Tobi/Edo jins/Bijuu all befor madara showed up?.
3) Naruto defeats Hashirama, but loses to Edo Madara. If people think hashirama is beating Bm naruto, then naruto is underrated.

First of all those clones were made using Kurama's chakra, as Naruto was in Kyuubi Chakra Mode when he made them.
And that chakra was replenished when Naruto melded his chakra with Kurama's unrestrained chakra, causing him to go Bijuu Mode.
And Madara still has a lot of chakra, and he has Senju DNA which increases his physical energy allowing him to use more techniques then he could when he didn't have Senju DNA.
He also has Rinnegan to absorb all of Naruto's chakra based techniques so chakra can be replenished that way.

"Hashirama defeated Ps and the kyuubi", All the time, In every vs thread against hashirama.
Unlike the kyuubi, Bm naruto is Faster/Smaller/Agile/able to spam clones, He is far harder to catch than a Giant ass Fox, Saying Hashirama defeats naruto just because he defeated the kyuubi/Ps in the past is silly, especially when the manga hints hashirama had help to defeat the kyuubi + Ps

Give me Valid reasons why Hashirama would defeat Bm naruto besides the norm (Hashirama defeated Ps + Kyuub)
Naruto's Being a sensor plus a Perfect jin makes hashirama's bringer of darkness useless
Naruto Has the speed advantage by a Large margin.
Flower world wouldn't work, Most likely since Naruto is now a sensor he can sense the pollen, or just simply destroy the flower.
Naruto has Far more chakra.
Naruto has Far more in terms of numbers (clone spamming).
Kyuubi having knowledge on Hashirama's mokuton, Able to Feed naruto infomation about it.
Ma + Pa toad Genjutsu (arguably one of the strongest Genjutsu's we've see so far).
Unless naruto fucks up badly, I just cannot see hashirama defeating him.
