It's not fair to say Naruto would beat Hashirama when we have next to nothing of Hashiramas abilities. Until Kishi shows us what Hashirama can and can't do, I'll go with the hype and say Hashirama > Naruto.

LOL you just say it's not fair to judge Hashirama because we don't know enough of his abilities and then say that Hashirama > Naruto...... Anyways, I also don't get why people keep using the argument that the 9 tails is only half as powerful as he was when he fought with Madara. Chakra does come back you know? Think as to why Naruto's seal got weaker as he got older. Because the 9 tail's chakra was slowly returning to it and thus making it harder for Naruto to keep control of.

NO. Kishi is not that stupid and lame, Naruto lost not once... I'm not saying that it would kill him, but it would give him a good go back to home.. No one would ever watch Naruto if he just goes and rapes everyone..:sy:

Wow, You don't even know Narut'o's full power because he never fought at full power with SM or KM plus he was giving power from Bijuus 2-8 that caused Tobi to have to re-ensure himself (had doubts)even to Naruto was exhausted before fighting him. Also I alread pointed out that Hashirama was only able to surpress Kurama's chakra before beause it was filled with hatred but now is filled with lifeforce. Go back and re-read the chapters where Naruto first showed his KM to Yamato and when he fought the white Zetsus.

Fail! Kurama's chakra was filled with hatred before but is now filled with lifeforce which reacts to wood element so Hashirama can't hold them down to try and surpress their power. Go back and read where Naruto first showed Yamato KM and where he first fought the white Zetsus, Yamato and Bee commented on how Naruto's chakra/attacks were causing reaction to the wood element.

Naruto with Kurama's chakra is much more of a challenge than Hashirama trying to capture Kurama himself. Think about it how it is to try to catch a fly or even a smaller child, they are harder to catch than a bigger person.

Crazy theory but it would be the same way with Naruto with him being much smaller than Kurama and having all of his chakra to move 10x faster than anyone else...

Kurama's chakra is filled with lifeforce and has a reaction to wood element, This means no capturing using wood to restrain them. Also everyone seem to forget Kurama and the other Bijuu's agreed that is the one he SO6P told them about when they were kid Bijuus.

- Even if he could, he could not catch Naruto with his Mokuton, Naruto is too quick

Naruto can use BM whilst spamming his 15+ KM and SM clones. What will Hashirama do when 15 KM clones, moving at speeds comparable (almost as high) to FTG, are bearing down on him? Throw in BM Naruto and his TBB and it's over. As well as this, the Naruto we're watching is worn out after fighting for 2 days and he's still fighting on par with Tobi and the 5 bijuu. He would defeat Hashirama, contrary to what some people believe.

ohh my... all you told is naruto's powers... ( bcoz thats all we know :shrug: )

now let me remind you that hashimara was able to beat the full kyuubi AND ems madara so naruto who is just half kyuubi and very strong doesn't have any chance...

all your fast , can't catch was already dealt by hashimara before when he fought them both its just not known how... stop underrating hashimara. just bcoz you haven't seen it doesn't mean he isn't strong... he was praised as the strongest shinobi by madara and kabuto even said people compared his strength to rikudo sennin and considered his strength level to be a myth....

I just wanted to add that back then Kurama was controlled by madara and because of that couldn't even fight properly.
Plus I don't think that Madara would've been concentrating on manipulating Kurama properly because he was more buzy fighting Hashirama "by his own self"(soz bad english )

I don't know the full extend of Hashirama's ability yet. Naruto could create clones of himself to combat Hashirama but Hashirama could do the same with his wood clones. I'm not sure whether his flower tree world thing would put Naruto to sleep if Naruto inhales the spores.
If Hashirama wouldn't be able to create clones then I would say Naruto overall. As of this moment, i'm giving both a 50% chance since I haven't seen Hashirama's full capabilities to be praised as the #1 shinobi of his time. Though his time has passed, to be #1 during that time is still quite a feat.

For now, it's a stalemate due to Hashirama's flower thing. Anyone care to tell me what the technique's name is?

Hashirama is overrated and overhyped
