Naruto has the best personality/ character in the manga.

Before I start, I want to state that, this thread is not to start a flame war or bash other characters but its to show that Naruto has has the best character/ Personality in the manga.

Some people may say oh but that's how every shonen main character is, but a closer look and you would see that his personality doesn't follow the cliche pattern as he takes his to a whole new level.

This evidence can be see in the way he cares deeply for his friends individualy.
*The way he treats his enemies
*The way he handles situations without discrimination.

Finally he has also strengthen this thought by earning the approval of people in the manga who rarely open up to other people. Examples being Itachi, Nagato, Obito, Kurama etc.
There are other people in the manga with fresh personality/character too but Naruto comes second to none.

No. He is way too unrealistic in the way that he just forgives anything and is too happy. That is not a very good personality or characteristic. Well, it certainly is for the enemies or those who have wronged him.

Completely agreed. Jiraiya was basically Naruto, but I think more realistic, because as stated above, the way Naruto just forgives everyone is kinda... I dunno, a little TOO good.
Although if I had to say so myself... I'd say Itachi. It may have been his actions rather than his personality, but he gave up EVERYTHING for his village, his family, his clan; but he still spared his little brother, and kept him protected indirectly the entire time. This all happening whilst his brother was raised to despise him, along with everyone else he once knew and loved. And he kept up that facade all the way until his death, all for the village's and Sasuke's sake. What a damn hero.
