It wasn't only sasuke using that sword, it was a sword used by sasuke's susanoo covering naruto's kurama form, empowered by naruto's standard sage mode, which was deciding factor. Remember gamakichi made discovery that tsb were affected by standard sage mode chakra, tobirama noticed it, then minato started using sage mode as well, it was a whole ting, manga facts. Nunoboko's sword isn't crappy, It is so strong that it was used by Rikudou to shape this world. It is powered by emotions and we all know that during their clash Obito was pretty messed up and couldn't control his emotions. That's the only reason Naruto and Sasuke were able to break it

You do realize the sword becomes stronger and weaker depending on the will of the person. At the time Obito was doubting himself which meant his will was wavering which meant the sword was becoming weaker.

If Obito wasn't doubting himself and actually has Blood lust the sword would've eradicated the Susano'o along with Naruto and Sasuke.

Lol I was just about to send my post but unfortunately you pointed out the huge flaw with the exaggeration of the Nonboku sword.


However, I do not think it is fanfics and I credit the OP for the theory - I did enjoy reading it and some of the reasons and proof you gave were well-written.


Major Point: At this point it is just kind of ridiculous to bring up weapons, jutsu(s), etc... We see in "The Last - Naruto Movie" Chakra Cannons supposedly strong enough to destroy the Moon?!?! Or better yet Gai opening up all 8-gates and using his ultimate technique(s) and nor did he die or Madara. And finally, the 6 Artifacts left over from/belonging to the SO6P barely ever being used except during the Gold and Silver Brothers fight and some other isolated instances. Who needs that when you have Yin & Yang Chakra and can create 9 nuclear weapons that are alive.....
