Sakura is name of a blossom. It's suppose to be the happy thing in the team ridden with guys with the tragic past. To spare us yet another serious sob story but to show there are normal people living normal life and normal little ambitions too.

And Sasuke/ Sakura pairing is pretty old. 'Has been around for decades.
