I clearly read the manga that scene from the movie isn’t in the manga. In the movie there are only some instances where he was pushed back the majority of the time they were shown evenly when they crossed swords. And doesn’t matter if it’s kenjutsu the greater strength would still force the other back which didn’t happen the entire fight.

Sasuke came out of that as unscathed as naruto who was in BSM. Its not far fetched to think he's on at least SM level at this point given that he's rusty. RSM is a different story.

Also ignoring the boruto movie is dumb. Its as canon as anything because kishi focused on that as his last major work on naruto.
