Like we could honestly be still in The Last arc of Naruto.. literally have it be The Last arc of the series THEN build all this stuff up with Sasuke, Naruto, Orochimaru, other said characters at the end, maybe idk 200-300 pages end it with the up bringing of Bolt.

THEN have us follow him ... just like we did Naruto to the ninja pre-k, chuunin exams, forest of death, so on, and so on.

Building his stripes as a character.

Honestly, if you liked Bolt as a character at first appearance you're the lambs they've set up over the years.

A better idea would have been to instead put ALL of the animation team effort/budget into essentially making a Naruto Kai. Straight up remake from chapter 1 through 700. No filler, period. Without any filler, I'd say the entire series could be retold within 400 episodes, if not less. Ideally with the same animation style/quality as they're showing with these book adaptations - but if nothing else at least consistent animation. Hell, if the animation was anywhere near the OVA's they made that would be amazing.

By the time that finished, the Boruto manga would in theory have plenty of material for them to then carry on and adapt that.

No you dipshit, who gives a flying f about Naruto kai, Boruto series is what we need. Naruto Shitpooden doesn't deserve to have a remake. Boruto GREATNESS always deliver the hype, the storytelling was the best written unlike anything in the past 5 years of Nawuto, the New gen are far more interesting with better character developments, more likable and unique, and their feats clearly surpassed in Part 1. Modern Technology clearly bring new things to the table, Naruto deserve to die, I don't give a shit if he's a god when there's always anyone can compete the gods.

Kishimoto has nothing to do with any of this. This is all Shonen Jump. Kishi was ignorant of how popular Naruto really was and kept it in dark about its international appeal. In Japan the publisher is the king and the mangaka work for them. Kishi never will see the money that he would have from Naruto if he did it in other countries. Shonen Jump controls everything and they are the ones who licence Naruto abroad and for any anime/movie. Kishi seemed generally surprised by how well it did outside of Japan. That is really the reason he is involving himself with Boruto.

And who cares about if this is Naruto GT? This forum is DEAD. It is just one nerd arguing with some other nerd about what a very dead Itachi or Sasuke did like 5 years ago in the manga. That to me sounds like hell. Thank god there might be something new to talk about.
