I think we are arguing completely unrelated points here, Macho said that Naruto was just given the power he has now. My argument is that you can be given the power and not use it, you don't automatically become an overpowered jinchuuriki you have to train and utilize it. Whether they could have been as strong as Naruto is irrelevant in the point I am making.

First off, Naruto was the only one in the leaf who had chakra strong enough to have Kurama inside of him other than Minato and Kushina. Naruto wasn't randomly picked for Kurama, he was the only choice possible.

Wrong. If Naruto was a normal child, he might have been a bit smarter. Instead of running into the Ice Mirrors, he could have tried to attack from outside while Sasuke was in the inside.

Besides.. Haku didn't want to kill them anyway. Sasuke only got hurt protecting that fodder.
