remember when itachi gave sasuke the power blaze it automatically ignited when he saw madara because he did not want sasuke to know because he will go to konoha to destroy it itachi loved konoha nearly as much a his brother.And he knew that it was possible for madara to survive blaze.
so beforehand he gave naruto power hoping he`ll never get to use it.
