STB is derived from FTG lol.

Naruto gift is not FTG, most likely he will get the yin chakra from his father. It's stated in the manga that Naruto has his mothers style of jutsu, intelligence and personality from Lady Tsunade. I guess that's a reason why he always fights through usage of diversionary tactics e.g. such as using his clones and using blindspots to strike his opponents. Sometimes he might use his clones to hold down on his opponents which somewhat parallels to Kushina using her chains to supress her opponents (e.g. Kyuubi).

Naruto's works best with using simple fighting tatics that he can intelligently think through. In my opinion, I think Naruto is one of the smartest characters in the NV.

We might have to wait for atleast 5 to 10 chapters to be confirmed about that stuff. Depends how long, Minato will hold up. If he survives for a while, he might even give Naruto a rough idea on how to do FTG, but we have to wait. Kishi likes to keep everyone guessing lol.
