Naruto Generations character/strategy discussion

Hi I made this thread to discuss and listen to views on overpowered/ underpowered characters in the game and what teams people use and how they strategize.

Some common character supports I always see online are:

-Hidan/ Pain
-Hidan/ Kimimaro
-Hidan/Oonoki
-PTS Tenten/Oonoki
-PTS Shikamaru/ PTS Tenten

These are all really annoying to deal with, and so any comments or tips would be great.

I also see a lot of expert players always playing with:

-Tobimara
-Young Kakashi
-Haku

I find the new spammers are surprisingly not Deidara its:

-PTS Tenten
-Oonoki
-Kisame
-Masked Man

I know there's more but these are especially annoying ESPECIALLY Masked man, I'm struggling to find a counter for it so any tips are again welcome.

So yeah thats my little review baring in mind I am European and I've only had it for a week or so so don't attack me.

If we could keep this thread going so we can all centralize our thoughts here and It would be nice to hear others thoughts on the things I've discussed.

i use them alot and i pretty good at the game


not to beat masked man you must need someone with a forward ult like danzo or pain or lee and when he spams you do ult this will make him try combos and that your game i hope


as far as pts ten ten always have a sub because if she grabs you and you dont have a sub she can ult you can there nothing to do so be carefull.

the trick to beating the masked man is have a character with a jutsu or powerful chakra shruiken that out ranges his and constantly retreating with ninja dash or chakra dash.

how do people spam with the masked man? i use him all the time but i dont understand how you can spam with him

Masked Man is probably the biggest spam in the game. The easiest way to deal with him is with Sasuke Susanoo, since his jutsu is stronger than masked man's.

Now, how to beat masked man with other regular characters? Well you have to be good and time things right. Choose a character with Fuuma churiken and choose support with decent range and easy to call in midair such as Tsunade and Itachi. Masked Man can only do ninjutsu so many times in a row he has to stop to reload chackra so dont let him do that, be agressive but keep your distance and predict when he is going to use his ninjutsu next, throw fuuma churiken when he is trying to reload chackra and right after that, air dash him and call tsunade or Itachi. Once he doesnt have enough chackra for ninjutsu you rush him hard, masked man is incredibly slow and he is nothing without his jutsu just watch for grabs. DO NOT get close to a masked man spammer unless he is out of chackra or your planning on doing air dash + support. Always step back, only approach when you are 99% sure you will come out winning the exchange, eventually he will get frustrated and start chasing you so he can spam ninjutsu on you, keep calling support and get him desperate enough to run out of chackra.

The strategy vs cheap supports.

Hida/Pain: Force the opponent to use them without him knowing thats the plan. Dash him not to attack but to dash back again, jump guard around him and throw a couple of churikens, once he calls hidan or pain you simply dash back or move out of the way. The best way to deal with hidan/pain is by planning a "waste hidan" strategy on your own.

Hidan/Kimimaro: The same strategy above applies, but in the case of Kimimaro you can always guard and jump out of way without letting go your guard. If either Hidan or Kimimaro hits you let them finish, relax and dont try to sub unless the opponent is going for ultimate jutsu in which case u sub ONCE and hold yoru guard once again. If he tries to grab u under Hidan, Kimimaro, let him do it better to get grabbed than getting your guard broken, you can take the damage.

Onoki: Predict him and just jump to a side, he is annoying only when you try to attack hoping he wont come out, if you know he is coming just jump to a side and continue with your attacks.

Tenten: Ninja dash to the sides towards the opponent will get you out of range, if this player using tenten is aware of this he will try to dash you right after using tenten to make sure she gets you in which case you have predict that(prediction is everything on this game) wait for him to come with the dash, you know its coming, jump guard to a side and paper bomb him or fuuma churiken him then hold your guard once again cause Tenten ninjutsu will get you but at least you bought some time

Shikamaru: This one is easy, unless is balanced support in which case as soon as his team gauge is up, hold your guard and KNOW that he will be trying to get you with the paper bombs, wait until his team gauge goes back to normal.
