Shino: Parasitic Insect Pyramid Jutsu
Shikamaru: Huh!
(Panel: Shino is shown walking from behind a shattered building)
Shino: Shikamaru, What?s the status of the situation?
Shikamaru: Nice to see you to, Shino
Shikamaru: But anyways, things are getting more difficult as time
goes by. We decided not to take forceful actions against them; we are just trying to immobilize them, which is turning out to be a pain.
(Panel: Two stone walls land of the village walls, the village walls start to crumble under the pressure)
Kakashi: Dammit, they are starting to breakthrough into the city.
(Panel: The walls begin to crumble under the pressure)
(Panel: Wide image of both of the rock ninja?s stone walls being destroyed)
Mysterious voice # 1: Water Style: Piercing Torpedo Jutsu
Mysterious voice # 2: Wind Style: Wind Shuriken Jutsu
(Panel: Shows Naruto and a blue-green toad with a jacket on and a ring in its ear back to back, on top of a building, each of them facing the now shattered rock walls)
Shikamaru: He finally made it to the fight.
Shino: Yeah, you know him always showing up right when you need him.
(Panel: The rock ninja begin to fall back out of the village)
Kakashi: Hmmm, they are retreating.
Shino: Interesting?.
Shikamaru: I will hold these guys still; we will take them in for interrogation.
Kakashi: Good, take them to Ibiki. Tell him to get them to spill everything they know.
Later on that evening?
(Panel: Turns back to Naruto atop the hokage?s tower.)
(Panel: Sai is shown flying in on a drawn bird)
(Panel: Sai standing with Naruto)
Naruto: Sai?.
Sai: They are all gone, no rock ninja within the village outskirts.
Naruto: What could have provoked them to attack us?
Sai: This had to of been planned out since they attacked while the village forces were on missions outside the village.
Naruto: Exactly, it was difficult for us to control the situation without causing major damage to them in battle.
Naruto: Sai, go to the interrogation with Kakashi and Shikamaru, I have to go check on a few things. Report back to me with all the information that they get out of them.
Sai: Yes, Lord Hokage.
(Panel: Sai departs, heading towards the interrogation center.)
(Panel: Naruto is seen walking towards a tall tree were he trained when he was younger.)
Mysterious Voice: So it seems as if you all were attacked today Lord Hokage. (Says Lord Hokage sarcastically)
Naruto: So you have all ready heard about it?
Mysterious Voice: Hmm, Yes I still like to keep tabs on my old home.
Naruto: Well, that?s nice to know?
(Panel: Changes to a full body shot of Sasuke coming from behind the giant tree Naruto is standing at.)
Naruto: Sasuke?
(Panel: Naruto and Sasuke standing under the moonlight, looking up at the tree.)
(Additional Info: This is the tree were Sasuke and Naruto trained, running up the tree.)
Sasuke: So, why did you ask me to come here for, Naruto?
Naruto: What do you know about the Hidden Rocks attack on us?
Sasuke: I know no more than you do. I was surprised myself when I heard about it.
Naruto: Well, I will take your word. Sasuke, I feel like things are going to get out of control.
Naruto: Maybe even an all out war.
Sasuke: And if it does, what do you expect from us?
Naruto: Nothing, protect your people. And I will help you if you need it.
Sasuke: Hmmm, Still trying to be protective of your bonds you have with others, so typical. (Sighs and looks at Naruto.)
Sasuke: But the thing is we are strong enough to protect ourselves. We don?t need the Leaf.
Naruto: Is that why you feel the need to attack other villages?
Sasuke: Attack other villages! We did not attack them, they sent their ninja to attack us, we were defending our?. Wait, I don?t need to answer to you, Naruto.
Naruto: That is true; you don?t need to answer to me. We are still enemies, correct.
Sasuke: Yes, that is true. (He smiles) Good luck with your investigations, I have more important things to take care of back home.
Naruto: Sasuke, tell me if you learn anything.
Sasuke: Hmph?
(Panel: Sasuke is shown walking away into the shadows.)
Naruto: Sasuke...
(Panel: Sasuke stops with his back towards Naruto.)
Naruto: Do you want me to tell her you were here?
(Panel: Sasuke?s head is turned back slightly over his shoulder.)
Sasuke: Tell her?
(Panel: Thinks back to the day he left the village.)
Sasuke: I am sorry?
(Panel: Scene changes back to outside the ANBU Torture and Interrogation Force building.)
(Panel: Turns to inside a room with 4 rock ninja tied down in the middle of the room. Masked ANBU ninjas, Ibiki, Shikamaru, Sai, and Kakashi surround them in the room.)
Kakashi: It has been 3 hours already and they still have not broken.
Ibiki: They say they know nothing. That say they can?t remember anything.
Rock Ninja # 1: It?s the truth! (Panting) We know nothing; I cannot remember anything at all. Just please let us go.
Kakashi: Should we, Ibiki?
(Panel: The Rock ninja begin to sweat, and it grows more and more as time goes by.)
Rock Ninja # 2: Wait..., A group of people came into our village, they looked like ninja, and they were lead by an older man wearing a strange black rob? And then?.Uaghhhhhhh
(Panel: The rock ninja start to sweat more and more. Their breathing begins to get harder; their skin looks like it is beginning to dry out. Their bodies start to shrivel up.)
Shikamaru: What the hell is happening to them?
Kakashi: I don?t know, but quick get a squad of medical ninja in here now.
(Panel: Scene changes to a group of strange ninja in the forest. Overlooking the Leaf Village.)
(Panel: 5 ninja are standing behind one ninja in a black robe, who is sitting meditating. On their uniforms is the Japanese Kanji for Water.)
Mysterious Ninja #1: Captain Kisogi, Are you ready to depart?
Captain Kisogi: Yes, It is time for us to leave. Our job here is down.
(Panel: Kisogi stands up along with the other ninja. The panel 1st shows them there, and then in the next panel they are gone.)
(Panel: Scene changes to Naruto standing in front of a door. Slowly opening it.)
(Panel: He walks in takes off his shoes and robe. Then unties his headband.)
Mysterious Voice: Your finally home, Naruto.
(Panel: Shows Naruto smiling with his eyes closed scratching his head.)
Naruto: Yeah, Sorry I am late again?..
(Panel: Changes to show a pregnant Hinata smiling at Naruto.)
Naruto: Hinata?
Hinata?s smile greets him, But this new threat still stands over the village.

Chapter 2: Shocking Attack on the Home Soil
