Naruto gains Wood Style

Alright, first of all, I'd just like to say, I DO NOT want this theory to be accurate, I personally would hate it, but I read the chapter Wednesday and this just popped in my head as a logical occurrence

His forerunner? I'm assuming that Hagoromo is referring to Hashirama when he says that, being the most likely candidate to be Ashura's previous incarnation(prehaps meaning that he too spoke to the Sage). As we all know, the only person to ever legitimately master wood style was the First Hokage. I'm aware that it is a combination of water and earth, neither of which Naruto knows, but prehaps all wood style is is the power to create life (trees being the life I'm referring to). Now I'm getting a bit off track, but hear me out.


I think that Naruto will receive this power up in one of two ways.

1. The awakening of Ashura's spirit.
2. Granted to Naruto by the Sage himself.

Also, when I think about it, Wood Style would kind of compliment Naruto's fighting style well, heavy hits landing in slow but sure succession.

I just hope its something new honestly. While it would be cool and OP if naruto got mokuton i feel it would be to repetative. All this talk has me hyped for next chapter though

Naruto would not get Mokuton but Hagoromo did say something about entrusting something to Naruto. It may be something out of this world. All I know that's it's going to change how people complain about Naruto and soon everyone's going to **** ride Naruto.
