In the plus side we got to see what happened to certain characters who didn't make it in chapter 700.

We also got somebadass panels of grown up team 7 and also we can't forget about the bet and the salt from the real mom.

It wasn't that bad since it gave back Thursday hype for a short while.

I haven't read most of the manga, but the anime certainly overdid it with the flashbacks after the Pain arc. Good story though, but poor execution.

Was pure shit. Kishi gets the chance to write something aside from Uchiha, and surprise
the main villain is an Uchiha wanker & wannabe, and it's a soap opera for the Uchiha family.

I actually didnt know what the point of Gaiden. Kishi just trying to created a conflict inside Sasuke's family for story materials and put random villain to gave it some flavor(bitter flavor).
