Kishi always loves to give suprises. I know deep down inside Himawari will be the strongest female child in this manga. She has all the tools to be a top tier ninja. Only screen time will tell how this great character will react to enemies. When that happens I will be looking forward to it.

Well, there were 2 family portraits on 2015 Jump Festa and Himawari was there too.

I think the reason why she is not with Boruto and Sarada is because she is still not a Genin, but either just an Academy Student or yet to become a student at the Ninja Academy.

Sarada looks really good, more batte-ready attire, Sakura's top, white pants/tights?, with Sasuke's sleeves.

She might really combine both her parents fighting style like I predicted, still no sign of yin seal or the katana though.

Calling it a yin seal is so taboo now lol, because of sasukes moon mark.
