The first fight that comes to mind is Madara against the Shinobi Alliance. That was the first time that we saw a battle on that scale. Madara effortlessly tore through the entire army, and then proceeded to nuke them when they got uppity. It was pure badass.

When Pain killed Jiraiya, manga sales dropped by 7%.

Which is huge.
