Besides, If Sasuke's did go as planned then all villages would have a joint force that should fight against him and even the Ninja canons the cloud has should be shared with the rest as they have one enemy which is Sasuke and in turn would prevent any of the casualities caused by meteorites from involving people.

Yeah...no. If meteors start falling, Orochimaru won't have enough time to deploy five gokage throughout the continent before the villages turn into dust. Then, above that, there is also the thing about Tenseigan only being stopped by someone with Hamura's blood, so...not Sasuke, basically.

Yeah. Their honest best bet is to let them duke it out and try and finish off whoever remains, which would be the most beneficial for the overall Shinobi world. Hashirama either way, who would do anything to protect the village.

No its not. The main difference is that its a slightly shorter time period. If you are teleported towards it, you have to go through the trouble of initiating the stab. Pushing your hand forward. If they teleport to you, you can already have your stab underway. The difference is pretty much minimal.

Would Boruto have had any more advantage if instead of getting hit Sasuke stepped back and he missed his swing. Seeing how little the contact he made with Sasuke's body slowed his hand down, his body would still most likely be in the same position and Boruto would have just as much of a chance to do it.
