So sorry for the long wait! School has really become difficult, especially with me juggling SAT and GPA improvement and college workshop and college research and essays. I'd be much happier with the multi shadow clone jutsu, so I could have the extra six arms and three brains I need.

Chapter eight: new biju mode
Seto spun through the air in a little ball, throwing his legs out to cling to the tower wall by his feet.
Naruto morphed back into his earlier form and jumped, biting into Seto's shoulder.
He groaned in pain and cursed Naruto with his eyes, stabbing a kunai into his shoulder.
He ignored the pain for the sake of the panicked Amegakure villagers below who were seeking shelter from the falling rubble Naruto created with each leap. And besides, his shoulder had already been in pain.
I HAVE TO TAKE THIS OUTSIDE THE VILLAGE, he thought. IF WE DESTROY THIS PLACE, THOSE KONOHA GUYS WILL CALL FOR BACK UP.
He tossed Seto aside once they were a safe distance away from the village and tore the knife out with one of his tails.
"This is impressive." Seto poured a hot liquid medicine over his wound to close the wound. "I guess what your mind forgot, your body remembers?"
Naruto changed back into human form, making an x with his arms. The seals for rooster, monkey, boar, horse, and dragon burned on each of his fingers.
"Kurama remembers everything I don't." He tapped his shoulders, elbows, knees, and ankles before clapping his hands together. "And he's trained me all this time, so that I wouldn't have to use only fuinjutsu against you."
Each of the tapped joints burst into flames, which was really red and blue chakra that danced like flames. More chakra enveloped his ears, shaping itself into fox ears. His pupils were diamond shaped. His birthmarks became solid bold lines and his skin and hair glowed like a torch. A yellow chakra cloak formed itself loosely around his arms and shoulders and trailed down to his knees. His nine tails turned razor sharp like swords and his eyes blazed red.
"I see..." Seto pinched his chin. "From what I can tell, you two have matched your chakra amounts perfectly, so you’re both in control right now. It's a shame I have to kill you."
"You don't have to kill me." Naruto sliced through the air with two of his tails. Seto caught on in time to leap back fifty meters. That was how wide and how deep the gap in the sea he'd created was.
"I'm going to defeat you, and seal you away forever." A hand clapped down on his shoulder, making him look over his shoulder in a jolt. He was so fast, to get behind him, completely silent, in less than three seconds. "I don't care how much the curse punishes me for it."
Another second passed and Seto was at underwater at a level that was dangerous for humans.
His ribs caved in.
Overhead, Naruto lurched forward, gripping his stomach and forcing himself to stay conscious. Kurama helped him by flooding his skull with chakra.
"I won't let you kill any more children." He decided, with blood trailing from his mouth.
"Be careful." Kurama warned. "That curse will transfer back all his injuries back to you."
Naruto poked his bleeding cheek with his tongue.
"I know." He wiped the blood away with the back of his hand. "Don't worry, I can take it."
He formed the hand signs for the great water tunnel and slapped his palms into the sea. A section of water pulled away to make a tube leading into the blue.
He slid down it with his hands and fingers brushing through the water. Looking both ways, he became confused.
"Where is he?" He asked.
His hand found some heavy water and his instincts took over, leading him down a separate tube and away from Seto’s whirlpool trap.
He flexed his arm, summoning a bullet of wind and sending it flying at the eddy. The water jutsu was destroyed simultaneously, but Naruto travelled up the remains of the tube to a safer water level.
He held his breath and searched frantically. Two pairs of eyes were in control right now, so…
YOU CAN'T HIDE! He wanted to yell as he yanked Seto out of the warp-space seal he was hiding in and hurled him into an underground cavern.
Heavy, aching icy stabs of pain shot in and out of his body. He gasped then tried to sweep the bubbles back into his mouth but ended up swimming to the surface anyway.
A kick to his throat made him cough up blood and threw him out of the water. He used his tails to take a swipe at Seto just before he tumbled through the air, and skid to a stop on a sand topped rock formation.
He coughed up sand and pushed himself to his hands and knees.
Checking his throat, he sighed in relief. There would be some bruises later, but nothing was broken.
"Thank you, Kurama." He leaned against the wall and produced his seal stone.
It was light blue. Completely empty after he'd bargained with that bounty hunter.
"We're in this together, brat." The fox chuckled.
Naruto smirked, with a hint of annoyance.
"Don't call me a brat."
"You..."
Naruto looked up. Seto was glaring down at him with a mad rage. And one of his arms was missing.
"You lout." He limped over, gripping his bleeding stub. "I'll destroy you, Minato."
Naruto was confused. "Minato...?"
"You promised." He said in a furious, accusatory tone. "You said I could trust you. You SWORE. All that's left..."
Naruto shook away the growing heavy, numbing feeling in his hand and slipped the seal stone through the wall.
Seto tried to punch him, but he sidestepped away and activated the seal.
The whirlpool seal began sucking in Seto's good arm, but he yanked free long enough to grab Naruto's collar.
"He's trying to pull us in along with him!" Kurama bellowed. "Do something Naruto!"
He would have, except Seto was crying.
A wall rushed up at Naruto, but it wasn't the seal stone.
It was a memory of Uzushio. Of Kushina.
Seto's memories.
