Naruto Fan Fundraiser- Yay or Nay

Since some of you have stated in the past that you would have liked Kishimoto to elaborate on certain plot points. Like Tobirama's reign, more on the War era, Hyuuga background, etc.

Let's pretend that a group was able to contact Kishimoto and for a certain price he/Shueisha would agree to publish a one shot to cover said topic. So, the group of fans started a fundraiser to cover the costs (because they couldn't pay for it of their own accord right away).

Would this be a cool idea as it would give closure to some sections of the story or an unneeded one given the manga has been over for some time.

And this is entirely hypothetical of course, I don't think Kishimoto would listen to a gaijin's idea's anytime soon.

On one hand I think "let sleeping dogs lie" is a good rule for this manga. On the other hand, if fans are willing to pay for it themselves, who am I to stop them?

I'd be down for something about Zabuza's past before Haku.

even i love Naruto manga so much but the story should base on the author interest to continue or not, not base on our money to demand something we want. Ofc we can support the author by buying his work, but we dont demand his work = our money (unless he want money to continue)

No one would be forcing Kishimoto into anything. Fans would just bring up a topic they want to pay for and ask him if he'd be willing to complete the work. He'd agree entirely of his own accord and no one would be pushing him to do so, if he said no then the group would just drop it and move on.

I would pay if they would reboot the Fourth Great Ninja war arc all over again and this time give everyone equal screen time they deserve instead of focusing primary only Naruto and Sasuke as well as give more meaningful deaths instead killing off characters with barely any screen time wasting so much potential. And also no more Powerups, countless spamming explosions as such.

But if we all stand together and voice our opinion that we'd love to see more of the journey or Naruto's lore under Kishimoto work and if the amount of fan is strong enough i think any author would happy to continue his work, the world that he'd created for almost 2 decades.

But tbh the story should be on his own/team without any affect from outside
