I currently work in the film industry, here is my IMDB page to prove so: I've worked on many more projects and movies that aren't credit worthy/credit approval is still in debate.

That being said, I support everything you are doing I'm just curious about a couple of things. I hope that my questions don't come off as hateful but of curiousity. Anyways:

1) How are you encapsulating all of that story into one movie? That seems impossible considering you're talking about a story with multiple antagonists, multiple climaxes and much more. It doesn't seem feasible unless you compress arcs that lasted months and years (in anime and manga standards) to a mere 30 minutes.

2) $40,000 is known as ultra-low budget. Anything under $1 Million is. That's not a problem when your cast and crew are volunteers and working for free (Which I'm assuming they are). That leaves all that money for props, post, and distribution. That still seems fairly low price range for decent effects and props (distribution I assume is digitally done via Internet).

3) Lastly, do you have rights to the content? Fan films happen all the time and are uploaded. What a vast majority of people do not know is that they paid several thousand dollars to gain those rights. Some people do not and are fine, but something this big (i.e. Naruto) being uploaded on a scale that large (i.e. the entire First Part) would require rights. You can and will be sued if you upload it, regardless if you make a dime off of it or not. The people that do not get sued only upload a short film, not feature length. I know this because I went through a legal battle (small but still) over a logo. I uploaded a music video with a Chicago Bulls logo on a hat in the distance and was contacted by the Bulls' Attorney asking to pull down the video or else I would be taken to court.

Once again, I severely hope that you come through with this! Best of luck and when this comes out I will cry tears of joy!

Thank you for your concern ! and Support. The film is going to be along one for this story to be covered. The guy who is doing the effects or is in talks with us at least is charging 200 per day and he does pretty good quality work. We have been trying to get in contact with kishimoto but as of lately have had no reply if we go through with this and he asks us to remove it we will by all means comply. We do not own any of this and give all credit where it is due. We aren't selling this or anything promoting the film. we are doing this because we had an idea that we thought was amazing and fans would love and we know that Hollywood wouldn't give us our moneys worth if they made a Naruto movie like dragonball evolution, but hey we hope that this is able to be done.

That's great! I'm very excited for this fan film and I am happy for you guys! Hope all goes well!

Oh and P.S. $200 a day for editing and visual effects is a totally legit rate. If anybody tries to tell you that it is too high is not true. I work as a freelance video editor mostly and my day rates vary in between $200-350. So you guys landed a good deal.
