Naruto wasn't taught SM or KM he was given the right tools and guidance but had to do all the work himself except with a little help from Kirabi and his Mom for KM.

Mastered SM in a little amount of time
Mastered KM and beat the 9T in his mind
His best power which you tossed aside is his talk no jutsu. What other character has turned so many evil characters good?
That is why he is a success he believes in himself and his beliefs and if someone else falters and doesn't believe in themselves or others he calls them on it and using his Nindo he turns their opinions around and they believe in him.
How many people believe in Sasuke. How many people has Sasuke helped.
I could go on about why he isn't a failure just because he relies on the 9T chakra to survive as Naruto is meant to be the one who brings peace to the ninja world and save everyone. What kind of person can do that without making a few mistakes.
I mean ffs in the manga it looks like the Kyuubi might actually become GOOD from Narutos talk no jutsu similar to the Hachibi...Naruto is just awesome get over it.
