Naruto did not save Sasuke from darkness and this is very important. So much of the series was invested into this plot element.most of the series was about it and it was hyped up so much I couldn't wait to see how Naruto was going to bring Sasuke back.
Despite how unlikely it seemed I accctually believe he would do it.
But he failed to do that out of all the things he has said he would do, this was the most important one and he failed to do it.
Remember all those speaches about how he would save Sasuke, well look he failed all that was WASTED THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM IN THE SERIES. NARUTO FAILED TO DO THE WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD DO SEVERAL TIMES IN THE SERIES.
He belongs on the top 10 list. I don't care where. But he is top 10 material.
Once again I will explain why he is so powerful. The third man to share the title "God of Shinobi" alongside 2 beasts (Hashirama Senju and the Sage)

It actually does.. He was prepared to die.. which basically means he already gave up, he was ready to die with Sasuke.
And I think it's pathetic he suddenly picked up his dream of being hokage the second he noticed that Sasuke wanted to
become one.
Since these are Naruto's own words : ''How can I ever become hokage if I can't save 1 friend.''
Sasuke isn't saved. The Hokage didn't save him, Sasuke just changed his goal after he listened to what they had to say. He's helping the alliance because he doesn't want Madara to succeed, because it would mean that his plans will fail. After Madara is gone, Sasuke will execute his plan.
If Sasuke was saved, Kishi wouldn't have kept Sasuke's intentions a mystery and he and Naruto wouldn't have had to fight.
