Was just watching this episode again, and Jiraya says that a reliable source told him that akatsuki will target naruto in 3 years. I was wondering if the source was itachi? Or is the source later mentioned? Thnx

it could be we're not really sure i believe it may have been itachi however it hasn't been proved to be completely true yet

pretty sure it was itachi.. wen he would say "research" im almost certain itachi was his source of info
