That fan is his best defense against someone like Naruto though because it absorbs the power of an attack and reflects it.. So it's not just any fan
And Edo Madara is Op, but Naruto has Bee with him and they're pretty good together so I think they stand a better chance than the kage

Madara even without the Edo form was at the pinnacle of his blood-line's power. It is mentioned several times in the manga. Add Rinnegan to the fix, and he just destroys Naruto or any other character.
