I mean, since he found out about the war he never even thought about Sasuke. He knew Sasuke was working with Akatsuki at the moment & he didn't have any flashback panels about him during the war either.

When they fought together, he gave little smirks cause he saw what he can do. I guess it kinda impressed him, but thats it.

I think he would just keep his promise to Sakura and then no longer associate with Sasuke.

It's not that he doesn't care but he has the war to worry about. Now that Sasuke is back he does not have to worry about where Sasuke is, what he's doing and keeping his promise to Sakura. I think his only concern about Sasuke at the moment is whether or not Sasuke will undermine his own attempts at peace by trying to destroy the tailed beasts in order to push through his own ideas about peace.

It's too early to tell whether or not Sasuke cares about the acknowledgement of other people or if he just wants to implement his own vision for peace. If they are thinking about him at all in the middle of this war it's probably about whether or not they can trust him.

Their relationship is so messed up. It got even creepier when Sasuke told tobi (creepy ass tobi) to perform eye surgery on him to get the ems... Just to fight Naruto.

I'm glad they're not focused on each other, the shenanigans that came out of the kage summit was disgusting.

edit: although Sasuke did get mad creepy when he entered the war and fought the zetsus.
