He does have Yin-Yang Release because the Truth-Seeking Balls are compose of Yin and Yang Release. You can't tied Naruto to something in the past. Naruto is the successor and is an exception to the Ashura power story. If anything Naruto far surpass Ashura. This is why he is shown with the Sage Truth-Seeking Balls. You can't give life to something that doesn't exist. He said it himself. He took a piece of Kakashi DNA and somehow was able to mutate it to an eye that would be functional.

He took form (Kakashi), and breathed life into his eye, thus restoring it. Likewise, he took Guy, who was dying, but possessing form, and breathed life into him.

Everybody has some form of Yin and Yang Release. Shadow clones are broadly a form of Yin Release.

As for the Gudou Damas, Naruto can likely use them due to the bijuu cooperating with him, not to mention Yin Kurama, who is pure Yin energy.

He does have Yin release as do Yang Release.
he didn't breath life into Kakashi's eye as there was no eye there, he created a entire new eye from Kakashi's chakra.
Also yin kurama doesn't grant the use of yin release, as yang kurama never granted him yang release.
He has Yin-yang release the Gudou Damas are proof of that.
