Many people discredit Naruto's feat of beating Kurama because of Kushina's appearance and assistance. What these people fail to acknowledge however, is that emotions were the only reason why Kushina had to get involved. When it comes to actual physical combat, Naruto had Kurama beaten before Kushina got involved. Go reread the chapters if you must. You will see that Naruto had already hit Kurama with a rasenshuriken and a nice body slam. Kurama was on his back and Naruto was already pulling out the chakara. Kushina only came in when Kurama's hatred (aka emotions) started to over take Naruto. Take emotions out of the picture and Naruto pulls out the chakara then and there (no Kushina involvement).

No, it was not an actual battle ability or tactic of Kurama's to release that hatred. That just comes as a natural result of pulling out chakara. The same happened with Rikudou Obito

Just because the kyuubi was on the ground doesn't mean he is defeated, he obviously could still fight. and without Kushina and Killer Bee's help Naruto certainly can't win. that's what Naruto is about he reaches the top through cooperation with his friends unlike Sasuke.
