Naruto destiny misconception

there's a common misconception with destiny and hardwork and this is to try and clear it up
because of neji's dad dying for the main family neji thought that destiny is something you can't escape;naruto said deciding destiny because of that is a mistake

after neji finds out the truth of what happened with his dad he thinks to himself
father...is a person's destiny a thing like a cloud flowing with an inescapable flow?or can a person choose the flow he wishes?I still dont know the answer to this.Either way the destination may be the same in the end,but by living like the latter a person can live and strive towards his goal because even though his dad died protecting the main family he still chose it

that's because they didn't follow kakashi rule of not giving naruto food which made kakashi say
those who break the rules and codes of the ninja world are called trash but those who dont take care of their comrades are lower than trash which he got from obito who wanted to be hokage

kakashi was minato's student(naruto's dad)who was jiraiya's student,who was hiruzen's student whose the student of tobirama and hashirama-all the hokages
even though naruto was destined to be hokage he stilled had to work hard, he beat neji with the technique he failed at the academy, the bunshin no jutsu which tobirama invented

after this fight neji stopped his hatred against hinata,becomes a jounin, and instead of wanting to kill her,which goes against his destiny,he dies protecting her
even though neji's dad's destiny was to die for the hyuga clan he still decided it and even though naruto's destiny could be to be hokage he still decided it,just like neji decided to jump in front of hinata

Neji's dad didn't make choice, that is an unbending and unquestionable fact. The Hyuga elders already ordered Hiashi to kill Hizashi and use his body for the peace negotiations. Hiashi was protesting but the elders would have overuled him and killed Hizashi with caged bird anyway. You can't claim to have made a choice in a situation where you were only given one choice anyway, coz even if he said no, he would have died anyway. That was just Hizashi not wanting to except the harsh reality of the situation and sugar coating it with a fairy tail.

that's the whole point of my thread, of course he didn't make that choice, it was his destiny to die for the main branch, but instead of not wanting to he decided he will still choose it because of his own reasons
during the fight with naruto neji had his mind made up about destiny and that it couldn't be changed but after that fight he questioned it
it's kind of like kakashi it was his next turn to be in line for hokage,he didn't want to, but for that brief amount of time that tsunade was unconscious he was still chosen

Wow. Not a lot replied to this thread. Great job. I would say the misconception came from the hard work theme that many speak. However, I don't remember hard work being the over-arching theme of this manga. It was to not give-up and keep trying.

Thanks I kept reading on this base about hardwork overcoming destiny or something like that and how Kishi stopped using it so reread the fight and realized that neji thought he was right about destiny because his father died hating them only to realize that his dad wanted to do it even if he was destined
