Naruto Dark Genesis
Chapter 1-Justice
A slight breeze blew over the war torn area. The beautiful, tranquil sky contrasted with the calamity and chaos on the Earth. For miles as far as the eye could see there were battered bodies scattered everywhere. Weapons were stuck and scattered across the battlefield as their owners had passed away and their immortal will lived on. It seemed as if life was none existent in this world. There have been many clashes and there was no reason to believe this would be the last. The world was war, and war was the world; it was all they knew. Out of the distance a man carrying a staff was walking to what seemed the epicenter of the battlefield. He had hair of red and a white robe. There were nine others behind him all of which seemed to have fought many battles up until this point. On the direct opposite side of the battlefield a man with two swords and a grey robe was walking to the same point. His hair was a pure white and seemed to glow in the light. He also had nine others who were following him. When they met at the desired point each came to a halt twenty meters before the other. It seemed as if time stood still as they each looked at the opposition with murderous intent. They begin to get into their battle stances as they prepared for another battle they were all too familiar with; however, each moment they expected different results in their favor. The nine followers of each side begin to get restless and more riled up as time passed; however, the two leaders stepped out of their battle stance and looked in a particular direction between them. There was a third presence that they have never encountered before this day. Pretty soon the other eighteen warriors caught on and then there was silence, as within a cloud of dust a man was walking toward them. He had a full body armor even covering his face and carried a single weapon. That weapon was built as a sword however it was not a sword. It was plated in gold and looked to be an ancient relic. The mysterious figure continued forward bearing a foreign symbol as the battlefield grew quiet and all attention was averted in his direction. He stopped and drew his weapon in hand as his head appeared to be hanging down giving the appearance that maybe he was looking toward the ground. After a brief pause he picked up his weapon and lifted his head directly facing the two forces-Chapter 1-Justice
It has been 15 years after 4[SUP]th[/SUP] great ninja war and most reconstruction projects have been completed. Everyone is living peacefully and the world has become more habitable. The next generation did not have to suffer the experiences of previous generations, and it looks like this peace will carry on far into the future. There are still a few missing nins and others with their own agenda’s but these obstacles present no problems.
Sai, Sakura, Naruto, Kakashi, and all of the kages who were involved the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] great shinobi war were standing outside in the land of iron while Shikamaru read out the sentencing for a captured missing nin.
Shikamaru: Do you remember this place? This is where you allegedly committed your highest of criminal offenses. This is part of the reason your sentencing is being held here. We will now begin the sentencing…
???: I am prepared to atone for my injustices.
Shikamaru: For leaving and betraying your village we find you guilty, for aiding in the demise of citizens and shinobi of konoha we find you guilty, for attempted murder and assault of a kage we find you guilty, for temporarily aiding the enemy in the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] great ninja war and destruction of our world we find you guilty. I know you helped us in the end but justice must be carried out. We sentence you to death by the hands of your teacher Kakashi Hatake.
Sasuke:…
Sakura:….No
Naruto: Sakura there’s nothing we can do we tried to save him…he just fell too deep in the darkness, and he couldn’t find the light.
Kakashi: This is my failure as a teacher…I must bear the burden of his actions as well…
Kakashi revealed his sharingan and begin to channel Raiton chakra into his hand as a tear ran down his face. He leaned forward as Sasuke closed his eyes and ran toward Sasuke. Kakashi ran through his heart with chidori causing Sasuke to open his eyes and cough up blood.
Kakashi: It Is done…
Sasuke wakes up gasping for air with his eyes wide open as he wipes the sweat off of his face. He looks down to see Sakura still sleeping peacefully beside him.
Sasuke: It’s that same dream again…
Sasuke began to get dressed as he walked outside of the house. Before he could open the door the sounds of light footsteps caused Sasuke to come to a halt as he stood half way outside of the door.
???: Dad where are you going? You always tell me to go bed when it is dark out.
Sasuke: Heh, I tell you to go to bed because you are afraid of the dark still.
???: *pouts* Er…well I know but it’s the principle that counts.
Sasuke: I’ll be back soon…go to bed Koji and don’t wake your mother.
Koji: Aww okay…*walks back into his room*
Sasuke left and closed the door. He made his way to the konoha bridge and leaned over as he was deep thought. He thought about his actions he was never punished for, he thought of the time he missed obsessed with a false revenge, he thought of his brother, he thought of his family, he thought of Naruto.
“Why the hell does this keep happening?” he thought as he gazed at his reflection. No reason in particular he looked down the river to his right and saw someone floating in it heading his way. From this distance he could make out that his hair was of a salmon color, short and that he had no hair.
Sasuke: Some idiot decided it was a good night for a swim I see. Looks like I have to take him in.
As he came closer Sasuke saw that he was not making any swimming stokes; in fact, he was not even coming up for air. His arms were outstretched and his face was submerged in water.
Sasuke: Man why today? *rushes over to the unconscious child and pulls him out of the river* Hey don’t die on me.
The child wakes up to see Sasuke right above him. He blinks a few times and then he speaks.
???: What the hell are you doing?! *pushes Sasuke off and stands up* Were you trying to kiss me?!
Sasuke: What the? I just saved your life
???: Ohhh so that’s what this is all about. You expect me to return the favor. Well I got news for you buddy there is no way you gettin any of this.
Sasuke: You idiot I’m married.
???: OH SO YOU DO THIS BEHIND YOUR WIFE’S BACK? Oh no I gotta go. SOMEBODY HELP!!!
Sasuke: *Grabs the boy and covers his mouth* Listen carefully you brat you were drowning in that river and
I recued you. If it weren’t for me you would be dead do you understand what I am saying.
???:*Nods his head in an agreeing gesture*
Sasuke: Now I’m going to let you go…okay?
???: HEEEELLLLPPP!!!!!
Sasuke: (sigh) *delivers a chop to the neck silencing him* Hmmm I never seen this guy before, and he doesn’t seem to be carrying any kind of village headband. I better take him to Shino for interrogation.
Just before Sasuke walks off he turns around and lets out a sigh. “You can come out now Koji.”
Koji: Aww dad how did you spot me?
Sasuke: I knew you were following me the entire time. Come on we’re heading to Shino’s
Koji: Shino?! I hate him he is so creepy.
Sasuke: Everyone thinks he is creepy come on lets go.
Sasuke and Koji traveled the empty streets of konoha on their way to Shino’s house. Koji couldn’t keep his eyes off the unconscious boy as he kept trying to figure out the connection between him and konoha.
Sasuke: I bet you’re wondering who this guy is.
Koji: Uh…yeah who is that guy he looks almost my age
Sasuke: I have no idea but he wasn’t exactly cooperating with me, so that is why we are going to let Shino figure all of this out.
Koji: *shiver* Ugh he can make anybody talk with those bugs.
Sasuke: That’s the idea look we’re here
Koji:…but this isn’t his office this is his house.
Sasuke: I know…*knock, knock*
After a moment’s pause the door slightly cracked open followed by a soft and quiet “Yes?”
Sasuke immediately threw the mysterious child at Shino as Shino quickly reacted but nearly dropped him.
Sasuke: He was floating in a river. I don’t know who he is or where he is from. I brought him here so that you may find out. Bye
Shino: Hold on do you know what time of the night it is. Couldn’t you just wait until I opened my office? You can’t just come by and drop random children here. What if I had company?
Sasuke: We both know no one is in there.
Shino: That’s beside the point…did you bother to check in his pockets for some sort of identification?
Sasuke merely smirked and closed his eyes at this remark. It was a simple solution that he was quite capable of doing had his mind not be occupied elsewhere.
Shino: I take your silence as a no…lets see..ah a letter. It says to Ryuzin Ziro. *opens envelop* Hmm the paper is blank. Is he Ryuzin Ziro, or was he delievering this to Ryuzin Ziro?
Sasuke: Maybe you should ask him…he should be waking up right about now but don’t worry I took the liberty of tying him up as he will try to run away.
Sure enough as Sasuke finished his sentence the boy hopped up and immediately fell on the ground squirming.
Shino: Are you Ryuzin Ziro?
???: Now im tied up in a strange man’s house?! What is the world coming to?
Shino: *summons a swarm of insects* Listen if you don’t shut up im going to have my insects eat you alive. Seeing how no one knows of your existence in this town I doubt anyone would even notice you’re gone. Now we can do this smoothly or the hard way, either way I get to sleep. Now are you Ryuzin Ziro?
Ryuzin: Yes sir.
Shino: What country are you from
Ryuzin: I have no idea sir.
Shino: Do you know what country you are in
Ryuzin: Nope
Shino: Hmm interesting…well we will let the kage decide what to do with you until then you will live in my closet. *kicks him in the closet and locks the door* Goodnight Sasuke give Sakura my regards. *heads back to bed*
Koji: He is good…
Sasuke: He is weird…Koji you go ahead and go home; I still have something I need to do.
Koji: Okay but mom’s going to be mad…
Sasuke: I know…
Koji went home while Sasuke walked off into the distance. The next morning Shino arrived at the house of Sakura and Sasuke. He knocked on their door twice when Sakura answered the door.
Sakura: Sasu-Oh Shino it’s you
Shino: Sorry did I disappoint you…
Sakura: No…I was just…Sasuke didn’t come home last night-
Shino: I’d rather you not continue this conversation, anyway Im also looking for Sasuke it’s imperative that I…
Sasuke: *Walks up to Shino* Yes you need me?
Shino: Yes the boy you recued earlier escaped…in other words we need to find him.
Sasuke: Right it shouldn’t be that hard.
Sakura: Sasuke you have been out all night shouldn’t you rest a little.
Sasuke: Sorry after I find this guy I’ll rest I promise, and don’t you have somewhere you need to be? Koji we’re going to find that kid from yesterday you wanna come?
Koji: You mean a real life mission? Sure dad and bye mom.
Sakura: Sasuke stop! Look at yourself. Your clothes are torn; you have bruises and marks all over your body, what are you doing every night…turn around.
Sasuke: Sakura…
Sakura: Sasuke turn around…
Sasuke turned around revealing a large deep scar running through his back. His son gasped in surprise as everyone else remained quiet. They never knew how this happened, but that always made them worry more.
Shino:…
Sakura: Sasuke why won’t you let us help you?
Sasuke:…
