Man of Sins I am not your dad. But do Naruto next. I am interested in knowing your point of view of why he sucks.

Naw, I'm coming going for Obito next and explain why is a terrible example of a tragic villain.

It's simple why he is one of the most pathetic villains: he became a bad guy because his teen crush got killed. "Uwa uwa, she got killed, my one sidd crush is dead. I'll create a illusionary magic world of unicorns with her riding it while shinobi are at peace."

Worse badguy in shonen for the past and future 10 years. He'll become soon the mark of level 0 badguy in the badguy meter

He trusted Kakashi to keep his crush safe. Yet he failed by killing her himself. This has to do with Kakashi to. In the end people wondered was Kakashi really a bad guy to do this? That's like seeing Sasuke Chidori Sakura when Naruto tells him to keep her safe. Not only that he was kept in a room by Madara recovering for years. He was simply stuck there with no place to go. I think all of that added up to his hate for this world.

Aw shit, I see Rin insults all over it.

Actually, my problem with him is that he caused tons of needless deaths.

Agreed, he was somewhat manipulated by Madara too, who wanted a successor to achieve his goals. There's also the fact of the Uchiha's dynamic of love/hatred which Tobirama explained. I don't like neither dislike Obito, but I see people hating him or blaming him for being a bad villain because he went through the dark side due to Rin's death. I don't think this is a bad reason afterall, people going to the dark side after losing their beloved ones is something very common on fiction, and Obito was an orphan, he had no one he loved besides Rin, so when she died he lost pratically everything he had.

Very nicely put. I don't like or dislike his character either. But still I can respect his reasoning for doing the things that he did. He was made to be Naruto's counterpart.

He didn't have to attack the village, kill the jins, or start a war to achieve his goal. That's why he is a terrible villain. And him being Naruto's counterpart was forced as most of their simialiaries weren't even present in Kakashi Gaiden.

What is a villian if he does not torment lives?

The problem is that Kishi tried to make him a tragic villain. Obito talks about saving the world while causing needless deaths.

He wanted others to suffer pain like he did. So they realize how it feels to lose somebody close to them.

He didn't have to do all the bad stuff he did, but he lost the faith in the world, and due to his fragile emotional state after Rin's death he could be easily manipulated by Madara to become his successor. People who fall to the darkness don't have a moral to measure the extent of their actions and if they are going to hurt other people in order to achieve their goals, that's why he did what he did.

kishi went out of his way to make sakura unlikable, terrible appearance, even more terrible personality, normally when such a character appears you expect it to change/redeem itself but lolnope

Her appearance in Chapter 700 wasn't terrible. She was actually a MILF. Lol

"...given the title of main character..." WTF? The title is "Naruto." She is not, and has never been, the main character. She is not even the "female lead" as you imply in your thread title. Sakura is one of many supporting characters and the fact that she happened to be on Kakashi's team with Naruto does not increase her importance.

You can have multiply main characters and according to Kishi is the female lead. A support character is someone who is not focus on by the primary storyline. Does Sakura not get a shit load of panel time in the primary storyline?

She does get a lot of panel time, but so do a lot of other important characters. "Important" and "Main" are not the same thing. Jiraiya was an important character and had a shit load of panel time (when he was alive). Other characters are also important to the story.

You can have multiple main characters when the story is titled and focused on those characters. Lots of mangas (and American comics) have multiple main characters. In this case, Kishimoto has consistently described his manga as "...a story about a boy named Naruto..." As such, the supporting characters, important and not unimportant, serve to develop the one MC.
