Personally if you ask me, chapter 680 brought a few questions and a few ideas as well. The main issue still stands and that is where they are now located, are they still on earth? Hell, are they even in the same dimension as they once where? I do believe that they are in the same dimension, but I do not believe they are on earth anymore. Lets jump into the idea/theory shall we?

Everyone shall become one, and peace will be gained! Why do Kaguya want a Zetsu army? We know that they aren't strong and we know that they hold no real power what so ever. But what we do know is that they are a part of the Shinju, and the Shinju itself is a part of nature. (Meaning that to some extent, the Zetsu's are living bodies of nature.) I think that Kaguya wants to battle the planet she comes from, not an enemy on it but rather the entire planet as one. She has become mother nature herself and she is creating soldiers of nature to fight for her. That is why I believe she aims to fight nature itself, she has obtained a power that can rival the gods, but even the gods bow down to destiny and time. I believe that her planet used to inhabited by her people, but at some point during her life, something happen and the world started falling apart. So she sat out to find a way to stop this, and she did find a way through the Shinju and Zetsu. I believe that she aims to fight nature itself, and to reverse the natural flow of time and nature on her home planet in order to save it from total destruction. (Because from what we've seen of what I believe to be her home planet, it is indeed falling apart.) The reason I think she wants to fight nature is that with her power, there shouldn't be anything capable to stand in her way. Other than time and nature itself, the two things that are ever changing and were all power originates from. She failed once, and she is running out of time which is one of the reasons she wants to end the fight as quickly as possible. But why is she taking the fight to the planet she wants to save so dearly? Well its simple, she is going to re-build it using her power and the Zetsus anyways so it doesn't really matter if its destroyed or not. But the Earth on the other hand, she needs that in order to save her own planet. Personally I think Kaguya will spill her resolve soon, saying that she is willing to give everything, to become whatever she needs in order to save her people and her home planet, even going to the lengths of destroying another planet in order to do that. (I also assume that Sasuke will recognize himself in this as he wishes to do whatever he can to bring forth a new Uchiha clan.) Main Points
