Sakura: This time, we're doing this together!! -Tsunade Sama, I think I've finally caught up to them!!-
Naruto Chapter 633: Redemption
(Scene shows the Kages standing around Tsunade where Katsuyu is working on attaching her body together)
Tsunade: (Senses Sakura's chakra surging) Sakura..I'm so proud.. -smiles-
Katsuyu: Lady Tsunade please relax! I'm still trying to heal you!
Raikage: Damn that Madara.. (makes an angry expression and stares towards the battlefield) How are we supposed to defeat him!?
Onoki: The Hokage is dying before you! She risked her life to save us, now show some respect and think of some way to save her!
Raikage: ... (turns towards Tsunade)
(Mizekage and Gaara look on with sad expressions)
Tsunade: It's okay.. Please.. Go help the others on the field.. I should be fine..
Gaara: With all due respect.. Your chakra levels are so low...
Mizukage: There has to be something we can do! At this rate she's going to -
Tsunade: Just GO!
(Everyone stands there shocked)
Tsunade: You are all the Kages of the nations.. it is your duties to protect your people, not to protect me! I chose to save you all instead of myself.. It's our best shot at beating him.. Please..
Katsuyu: But Lady Tsunade I don't think I-
Tsunade: I will be fine.. My one last bet is with you all..
(Everyone stands there in shock as tears roll down Tsunade's cheeks)
(Raikage then senses someone approaching and turns around)
Raikage: Someone's approaching! (Panel shows him using his lightning fast Lariot and beheads Orochimaru)
(It was a wooden clone and Orochimaru appears behind them along with Karin and Suigetsu)
Karin: PLEASE, LISTEN FIRST! WE CAME TO HELP!
Raikage: Allies do not sneek up on their comrades! You dare attempt to deceive us ! (Attempts to Lariot Karin)
(Orochimaru is shown stepping in front of Karin and jumps into the attack, turning into several huge snakes and binding the Raikage)
(The Raikage is bound and is frustrated that he cannot escape)
(Orochimaru appears after being thrown up by the snake binding the Raikage)
Orochimaru: Please.. don't be rash.. We need to save Tsunade. It is the Shodai's orders.
Onoki: Shodai? That means the Edo Tensei brought him back too?
Tsunade: Oro.. chimaru?
Karin: We were ordered to track you down and ensure that you stay alive, Tsunade. The 1st wants you to survive long enough to meet him, please, bite into my arm! It will help heal you (holds her arm out towards Tsunade)
Mizukage: What makes you think we believe you! (steps in front of Karin)
Orochimaru: We would not be foolish enough to come here with false intentions.
Onoki: You are all convicts of the attack of the Kage Summit. Have you forgotten all the crimes you have committed? We will not be swayed so easily!
Suigetsu: (cowers) Tsk! Why do I always have such shit luck??
(Orochimaru steps forward)
Orochimaru: Raikage, Mizukage and Tsuchikage.. The world is ending before us. Madara has summoned the Juubi and the world will be destroyed if we cannot stop it. (Thinks about Sasuke's resolve) The things that I've done will soon not matter. We ourselves will soon not matter.. I should not be forgiven for the crimes I have committed.. but I stand before you asking for a chance for redemption.
Onoki: That's a well versed speech but why the sudden change of heart? You are infamous for running immoral experiments and attacking Konoha all those years ago
Orochimaru: (smirks) Well I wouldn't call it a sudden change of heart.. I'd call it the only option. Whether my I decide to live my life with good or evil intentions.. The only option we have right now is to stop the Juubi, or else we will all die
Raikage: Is that the sort of talk that's supposed to convince us!
Gaara: He makes a valid point though. Back then.. he used me to attack Konoha. I was a monster too but have since asked for an opportunity for redemption..
Mizukage: But this snake, he's not one to be trusted !
Orochimaru: (Releases the Raikage from his bindings) I am asking for a chance. The choice is yours.. but she will die if you deny our help
Tsunade: Orochimaru was in my squad.. We fought many battles together and was one of the best shinobi I have ever known.. I know Orochimaru better than you all..
(The Kages turn around and seem to let Tsunade take the lead in her last moments)
Tsunade: You say you seek redemption Orochimaru.. in order to do so, you must come clean.. I will forgive you under one condition... tell me.. what is the real reason why.. you turned on the village..?
(Panel shows a close up of Orochimaru with his arms crossed as he stands before the Kages)
Redemption is granted! What will be Orochimaru's response?!
