Are we suppose to see Tobirama as a villain?

Tobirama have some good reason to do what's doing.

Madara seem to be obsess at getting the acknowledgement of his peers. I don't know if it's the translation(panda) but he doesn't care about the hokage title. Or he's really afraid to sacrifice everything he love for the sake of the village.

Tobirama is misunderstood to say the least, but to say he is a villain is a little too much. He cares about the new village they just built, the alliances, all of that. Granted, he still does have a deep hatred for the Uchiha but that's because he completely understands their nature and sees the threat there. He analytically and politically dominated them because, to him, it was still just Senju vs. Uchiha to the end.

So, Villain, no.
Antagonist, maybe.
Winner, yes.

Tobirama is misguided and rascist, yes. But he's definitely not the villain here. He does all he can to protect his village and his people. Let's not forget that he risked his life for it.
