Zabuza was a good villain but he needed more water abilities.
Haku was a horrible character but good abilities.
The beginning was good cause of Naruto and Sasuke.

Why were Haku and Inari horrible characters? And is it true that the Zabuza arc is the only original material in the series and the rest is a copy of Hunter x Hunter?

Naw people just salty that chunin exams and Hunter exams are similar
Nothing else is similar tbh. Plus its shonen tradition to have some type of tournament
Zabuza was cool, Haku was meh (apart from the gender scene) and Inari's personality, design and attitude made me bleed from every crevice.
No, it's just the exams were similar. But it's like saying that Harry Potter and Naruto copied each other (orphan snake villains, prophecies etc) but it's just common themes and influences.

Do you think after the Zabuza saga, Naruto should have gone on more missions similar to these and the shinobi world changing him and everything?
