You seem simply ignoring that manga scan .... And always use the logic didn't use == couldn't use ; let me give you an example :
"You want to pay 100 $ for a tool ... You have 50 $ , 50 $ and 100 $ .... When you pay with 50$ + 50$ ; it doesn't mean that you didn't have any other option or couldn't pay it another way " ....
So your logic ((didn't use == couldn't use)) is completely wrong ....

Alright lets continue on. So where did we left?
Yeah, you said Sasuke would awaken MS if Naruto dies. Never going to happen, sharingan is awakened in stages, he needs to awaken 3 tomoe first and then progress MS. So even if Naruto dies, at most Sasuke would awaken 3T sharingan which still would loose to serious Haku.
Honestly the direction you're taking this debate to is pointless. It was a debate about hwo has more potential without their handouts and that's obviously Naruto mastering fusion mode SM.
