Naruto can't combine SM and BM?

Since naruto and kurama is working together it is possible remember when he met Nagoto he had combine them this was due to his anger but remember naruto's chakra control have improve so much since kurama is not holding him back so it won't be much of a shocker if he combine these two mode.

What part of it is an asspull? If you knew how SM works you would know that it is possible...

He can possibly do it if he get's Kurama's yin chakra (he did in the latest chapter). To enter Sage Mode, everything needs to be balanced. Naruto entering Sage Mode, he's perfectly balanced, but fusing with Kurama's chakra won't work because Kurama's own chakra isn't balanced because it's only the Yang. So people speculate if Naruto gets the Yin, everything will finally be balanced and doing so, Naruto can combine the two modes.

Not to mention it was foreshadowed back in the Pein arc.

He wasn't trying to mix the chakra then, it was loss of self-control.

It's pretty clear SM is running at the same time as the 9 tails chakra. It at least shows that you don't have to use exclusively one. This does leave a pothole as to why Naruto hasn't attempted KCM+SM. My explanation(and probably others) is that he only has Kurama's yang energy. Therefore, he can't turn Kurama's chakra into sage chakra until he get the yin chakra for balance.


There's also the fact that SM is being portrayed as Obito's major weakness, indicating that Naruto will use SM in some way or another to beat him.

don't think it is easy it very similar to mixing chakra types like a kkg or tota. So its not easy and its not something everyone can do but stnewest ability and the main thing he has been working on is chakra control sharing fighting for and mixing chakra so he has the know-how and the skill. Having said that it would require mixing nature+ Yin + Yang naturist + Yin + Yang nine tails add one more and that would be six huh wonder if that has something to do with six paths?

Recently a LOT of people have been speculating that Naruto will combine BM and SM because Obito's only known weakness is senjutsu. However, I don't think that he can use them both at the same time because of this.
