Naruto cant be faster than the Raikage.....

Riakage has had a lot of exprience with his speed so he is already used to it and has adapted to his speed has all humans do but in naruto's case he just got it so he needs more time to master is as riakage did.

Sad it took someone this long to say somthing logical without running to the manga basing everything off what the Raikage said. Even still, it was never stated that naruto has good reflexes. In fact, without the 9 tails hes a below average ninja who is slow and spams shadow clones and rasengans blindly. SM wouldnt be able to save him.

I never said he wasn't moving at the same speed and I'm not referring to cinematic pauses either effect, if you look at the scan you see that Raikage has his fist pulled back and right when he is about to hit, they dodge.

If you actually looked at the scans you would know that the pauses are distinguished from other panels by having a black background.

Both times before the panel background goes black, Minato and Naruto see the Raikage right in front of their faces ready to strike (arm lunged back a bit) then they dodge.

well in the end the bottom line is speed is not everything if u cnt hit the person in front of u.....that makes it lame

Manga has already stated that Naruto is faster, but what about one more challenge against Ay. Ay punched Naruto like 5 times and Naruto only dodged one punch. Naruto stated self that Ay was faster than him, but he didn't say nothing about hes faster or not. One more thing, Naruto was prepared for Ay and got punched many times. Plus he got helped from Bee. Bee held Ay like 10 seconds and won't allow Ay to stop Naruto, but he manage to stop Naruto after all with his speed. Why didn't naruto sense him, because he was not fast enough to counter it.............!

Yes Naruto is fast, but remember one thing........ you're just overestimating his own speed and powers, but as always the others are actually underestimated.

remember how KM can sense evil, evil intent, etc. etc.? well, not everyone is as pure as naruto, just about everyone has something evil in them hence why he can sense everyone, especially raikage who even said that he attacked naruto with the intent to kill, which is evil.

lol go back and watch that anime chap proprly you would notice that naruto was not afraid of A's punches he used his arms to block all punches. If naruto didn't see it he wouldn't be to block it with his palm naruto thought he can handle A's punches. he was also suprised that A could keep up with him. mind you KM naruto can reduce his acceleration(any thing that can accelerate also have the ability to diaccelerate) thats why he didn't give bee much space behind when they were running to the battle field(after they left the hidout).
Okay example lets say naruto's top/hightest speed is measued by 100% and A speed is 90%. naruto never knew how fast A is,so he used 30% thinking he will out run A not knowing A has speed up to 30% too so A blocked with equal speed.naruto onn a second atempt to out run A he(naruto) increased his acceleration to 60% not knowing A too still can keep up with his increased acceleration with that A was able to block again.the third time now A was pissed and go with full speed(90%) so naruto that has 100% acceleration was able to doudge A
NOTE: the A and naruto speed battle was kinda a trial and error thing on naruto's side.
B only wanted A to stop blocking naruto's way how else do you think Bee can make a stubborn A listen to him? A was so stubborn to listen to any one so Bee have to confront him first and that was exactly what he did.naruto was doing fine with A even before Bee interferred Bee also diid that to prove he supassed A's ( is it bumb fist.....sorry cant remember) tsunade was not even suprised by that punch blocked by Bee cause she knew it wouldn't have caused any harm to naruto.
And yes that last punch naruto was prepared but that was because he finally knew what A was capable of.

It's Naruto's SPEED that dodged it. It's a general term. They even said he's just like the Yellow flash. His reflexes increased. He can sense negative emotions and chakra inside a room that it should be impossible to sense anything for crying out loud. Watch the anime episode where he dodges the punch.

Naruto shows glimpses of minato's natural reaction and speed. Naruto has not yet surpassed his father because he still gets hits done to him by average speed attacks and he still doesn't have complete control over his reaction and speed. Naruto also has to be in kyuubi mode or sage mode to enhance his reaction and speed.

Ok let me put it this way. In this scenario dbz logic does work. In general, the faster a character, the easier they can see and react to fast speeds. While its true that before kakashi got his sharingan his chidori made him move so fast that he got tunnel vision, naruto is so fast in his kcm that while standing still, he could see and dodge the raikage. Perhaps if he moved too fast on a straight he would get tunnel vision, but it is plain to see that in this scenario, he was able to see, react to, and sufficiently dodge the raikage
