One thing we tend to forgot is that everything we know about Naruto is from the perspective of the story told about him. I don't get why is the entire mythos ending just because his story is? I don't mean the manga I mean the story itself.
It's a crazy coincidence that the story of Naruto also happens to be the end of everything. Kaguya came and went, Hagaromo, Madara etc.
In DBZ goku died plenty of times and the universe kept going on. There's still ppl out there who are stronger than him that exist who we may never see. Naruto, is implying that there is no one or nothing else out there and this is the final story.
I guess this is the problem with creating a universe and naming it after a single person
